I love this blender. It’s perfect for smoothies-and for lots of other things I’m sure, but I wanted smoothies for my diet. Have been struggling for six weeks with an upside down one at twice the price. It leaked and was Too hard to get lid on and too big to grip for my hands, so I needed two hands to pour. Works great. However, its loud. Also, I dont no if I got a mistake, but the lid has 2 straining slots, opposed to the normal one side strains the other pours. One more issue is the lid has a "turn to lock" feature that is super annoying because its so subtle or shallow that if u get any food in it its hard to find and u can force it down without trying. Best blender I have had (and I've gone through a few). It is easy to use, controls and setup are intuitive, and it's a perfect weight -- heavy enough not to be in danger of tipping over, but light enough to move it back and forth on the counter. It has a capacious blending container, does an excellent job of liquifying things as diverse as berries and ice cubes, and yet doesn't take up a lot of counter space. Cleanup is quick and easy.
