First off, I love that this comes in a sealed bag that you have to peel open. It makes me feel like I know that it's clean. I do have a spray bottle of alcohol, though, that I spray down my rollers with before use, and also after. The hard plastic case is great and eliminate the question of where and how to store something with sharp needles all over it. I was really impressed that it has titanium needles on it, which means it will stay sharper longer, but also that it's a harder metal so easier to clean and less bacteria to collect on it. The last thing you want is an infection from a dirty Microderm roller. I do find the roller style a little more uncomfortable than the stamps that I also have, but that may just be a personal preference. It does roll smoothly, and I have no issues with the function of it. The handle is comfortable and it's easy to roll around the contours of my face at different angles. I know it says beard care, but I just use this on myself (female) before I put some of my facial serums on once a week. I do know it makes a big difference doing the micro needling first, then doing serums. The needles could be a bit longer, though that does increase the risk of infection if you're not properly caring for your roller. Both me and my boyfriend use this. It's great for stimulating hair follicles to help with hair growth. I use it for collagen production in my skin. Obviously it needs to be rinsed between uses. We use isopropyl alcohol to clean it. The little needles or whatever you call them are not sharp enough to cut you but to stimulate the skin. Just feels prickly. Well made and great for the price.
