These are a size large, which was chosen intentionally to allow for extra room through the thighs and a longer, flowy look. As you can see, there is some extra length, which works well if you want that longer, relaxed silhouette. The waistband is a wide elastic band that sits comfortably at the waist. It’s soft and flexible and doesn’t dig in or feel restrictive. It stays in place without squeezing, which makes these easy to wear for longer periods. The fabric is lightweight but not overly thin. It’s not see-through, and it holds its shape well while still feeling breathable. While these were purchased as a bathing suit cover-up, they’re versatile enough to wear on their own. This airy, roomy pair of pants is both comfy AND stylish, and I'm in love! The beige color is very pale but that only adds to the chic look. I usually wear a Large but did size up for this on stinct, and I'm glad I did. The one size up fits perfect with my thicker thighs. The length is good. Elastic in the band is well sewn and stays in place without cinching too tight. The material is thick but breathable, and is of great quality, feeling like it'll hold up a while even with frequent use. (I'll be sparing though, since I'm notorious for spilling on my clothes and staining them.) The price is just right for the quality you get. These pants are far better than I expected which was a nice surprise but I can't say for certain that the color I received is true to what is shown as sage green. In the package, they are a darker color and with the flash on my camera, they are a bit closer to what is advertised. Either way, these pants are soft, flowy, and very flattering. I am 5 feet tall and the XS comes just to the tops of my feet, draping absolutely beautifully. The elastic waist is comfortable and the pockets are nice and deep rather than shallow, a big plus and bonus in quality and design! These are really nice quality. I bought the green and was concerned that the description said may see undergarments but they are thick enough that this hasn't been a problem. I do wonder if white would be different. Making sure to lay them out to dry instead of tumble. These are not as wrinkled as my other linen pants get even when I hang them right away so these are going to be a staple favorite in my spring and summer wardrobe. Read more
