Precise Disarray—January 20, 2025
Preference for pillows and perception of pillow is a supremely subjective thing. So while reading through reviews about pillows may be helpful, it will ultimately come down to your personal experience with it. What I love, you may despise. What you love, I may detest. Exact same pillow but very different opinions. Doesn't mean someone is right, and someone is wrong; just depends on whether that particular item is right for someone's needs and preferences. I'm 5 starring this because it is my second set. I know what to expect and I like it. If I were nitpicking, I may go with 4 or 4.5. So here are my stats: --I am a side sleeper. I sleep with one arm under my head, so pillow is always between my angled up, folded arm and my large head. --I hate hot pillows. I hate hot sleeping. I want to be cool. I will use cooling pillow cases (helps not trap heat). -- I like medium firm pillows with some "give". I prefer to have one pillow of semi firmness that I use to support some of my head and a little bit of shoulder, then have another pillow that is more malleable to be under my face and rest of side of head. Kind of scrunched. --my shoulder tends to ache at some point, and my arm usually falls alseep. OK, so HOW does THIS pillow fit in? I use it as my top pillow. It DOES NOT TRAP HEAT, and it has a weird cloud like feel that always ALWAYS makes me go "ahhhhh", even as I flip over in the night. There is a weird level of comfort that this pillow provides. What is this sorcery? Downside-ish is that is IS soft. Lofty, but my head drops down into it a bit and the sides go up, especially if my arm isnt underneath it. But when my arm is underneath it.. mmm perfection. It is COMFORTABLE (to me). I dont use in while on my back reading or watching tv, or playing solitaire on my phone before sleep. I need a firmer pillow. But when I roll over to get into sleep position, it is like this gorgeous level of comfort. It just feels so nice. My shoulder doesnt ache as much, and my arm doesnt fall asleep as often. That all being said, this is not a FOREVER pillow. I do have to swap out after a period of time. It will eventually lose that cloud feel and just become a regular pillow. But its fine for several months easily. This is my second set, all mine. With the first set, I kept one and my husband used one. He may still be using his. I bought this current set recently on a whim. I forgot how blissful the pillow can be (I am not sure what happened to my pillow, perhaps my dog stole it), and am very happy to have a fresh one to use right now, and a spare for another point in time. I at least know that I LIKE this pillow, and even if I am buying it every year or so, it is better than trying out all sorts of other pillows and hating them. This may be something you love, or it may be the worst pillow ever. But it has good stitching, cleans up easily, does not trap heat like some pillows. So I think quality is there. As for rest (comfort, support) that will be up to your perception and your body and sleep style. Read more

This the second time I have ordered these pillows. The ones I have from 4 years ago are still nice. They are great pillows, lofty and soft yet supportive. I recommend them. Read more

These pillows instantly made my bed feel more like a hotel setup. They’re plush and airy with a soft, down-like feel that balances comfort and support really well. I love that they’re not too firm but also don’t collapse under your head—they hold their shape throughout the night, so I’m not constantly fluffing them or waking up with a flat pillow. The material is smooth and comfortable against the skin, and the Standard/Queen size fits perfectly into my pillowcases while still feeling substantial. For the price, the quality is impressive and definitely better than many higher-priced options I’ve tried. If you want a simple way to upgrade your sleep and add that hotel-style comfort at home, these are a great choice. Read more

This is the most decent pillow I have purchased in a few years. It's pretty heavy, but it stays in place. I am a back sleeper who uses two pillows, so I can pound it to make a dent and then use my second, thin pillow to lift my head to not snore. I need that dent to keep my neck from straining to stay up. (Otherwise you are fighting your head from turning to one side or another, which stresses your neck.) It's important for back sleepers. My husband likes the pillow for side sleeping, and I find it comfortable for being on my side as well. I did have to air it out for a whole day because of the smell, but then it was fine. Read more

These pillows are the BEST, even more comfortable than the best advertised ones! I have a great night’s sleep every night! My neck doesn’t get stiff and my shoulders are relaxed in the morning—unbelievable!!! The firmness is perfect—not too soft and not too hard!!! Furthermore, they don’t cost an arm and a leg!!! Oh my goodness!!! These are a MUST have for any side sleeper. We got a pair and both had the best nights sleep in a long time. The price was absolutely right, too. However, we'd buy again no matter. They are that divine. The fabric is so soft and high quality. The size is perfect for our standard queen sized cases. No noticeable odors upon opening either pillow. The worst part was floofing them from their uber compact packaging. Read more

Wow! I've always wanted pillows like the ones they have at some of the nicer hotel chains, but I've always been afraid to spend all that money online in case they didn't match up to the same comfort. Usually I buy $10- $15 dollar pillows at Kohl's or Walmart and settle for the best comfort I could get from them. Well, i finally decided to go for it and am I glad I did! These pillows feel exactly like the one's at Hyatt and Marriot hotels! They are really full and I thought they were going to be too full, but when I laid my head on it the pillow just formed around my head and supported my neck without smothering me. My husband loves his pillow as well. I also got the pillow protector case, to keep them in top shape, even though they are washable. Definitely worth a few extra bucks as sleep is a very important thing. Read more

Very comfortable pillows with good filling that doesn't clump up or go flat. They are medium firmness and leave a few inches between my head and the bed when laying on my side, so for me, they are a bit too thin, but this is easily remedied by having a very thin pillow underneath to adjust to the hight of my shoulder. They do get a tad warm, but not as bad as other pillows I have used, and the temp regulation seems great for a down alternative. Read more
