Bed Stu Soto Womens Sandal

Beautiful sandals! I was torn between these and Free People's Mont Blanc sandals, but was a bit put off by the price and reviews concerning the quality of the Mont Blancs. These though are beautiful! Still pricey, but for the quality and feel of the leather it was well worth it. I am typically a size 8, regular foot width but on the wider side) and ordered the size 8. Slightly snug around the sides but I am quite confident they will stretch to be absolutely perfect. They were comfortable from the moment I slipped them on, and didn't have any issues with the ankle being too small like a few other reviewers. I ordered the sand color, and they are absolutely gorgeous. I cannot wait to wear them all summer! If they hold up well, I will order more colors for sure. I received these today after eyeing them for some time and being hesitant because of the price. But once I got them and put them on I was thrilled that I finally took the leap. I do feel that they run slightly small as I normally wear 8.5 and decided to go up to the next full size and am so glad I did. They barely fit and I can see that going down a 1/2 size would have been a mistake. I would highly recommend these to anyone. I've had them on for most of the day and they fit like a glove (a comfortable glove) with no rubbing or cutting into my skin. I plan to take these with me on a trip to Australia this winter (their summer) and am pretty sure these will be my go-to sandals. Read more

To begin with, I love these shoes. The leather is very good quality and it's hard these days to find shoes that have real leather soles. That's the best and makes me very happy. BUT, their sizing is really inconsistent and it made it very hard for me to figure out what to buy. I ended up keeping three different pairs of this basic style, but the SOTO runs much smaller than the SOTO G or SOTO S. I bought the Soto G in Taupe and the Soto S in Teak. They are all three my favorite shoes, so comfortable, but I was able to buy the 8.5 in the G and S, and that's my normal size, but the regular SOTO was way too small in 8.5. So I had to get the 9. They are also a bit stiffer than the G and S Style. That said, besides the size issue, I would stress that there is absolutely no arch support in any of them, so be aware if you need that. I have very flat feet, so the lack of arch support is not issue at all. The bottoms are cushioned enough to be comfortable and I can walk the dogs for an hour without a problem or just wear the shoes all day and be comfortable. The S and G did stretch a lot, so they are now quite loose, but they are built in such a way that there's no problem because they are secure on my feet. I am pretty happy with them but would like for the company to find a way to get their sizing right across the board, so that's why I put only 4 stars. Read more

These run really wide - the length is fine (I'm an 8.5 and went with the size 9), but they flopped on my foot where the straps were too wide, looking like they were to swallow it. The straps cannot be tightened, as that these sandals can only zip in the back. Not adjustable at all, which is a shame, otherwise they would have been a cute shoe for summer. Also, just trying them on in the house, the sole did not seem very comfortable. Cute shoes (if they had fit), but not worth the $84 price tag. I'll stick with Pikolinos for a better fit and comfortable sole. Read more

I debated over these sandals for months and I finally ordered them. So glad that I did! They are great. Super comfortable from the moment I put them on. The ankle was a little tight and the rivet would hit against my ankle bone, but after a couple wears it is loose and comfortable. The only issue I had, other than the rivet, was the toe strap did give my pinky toes blisters on the second time wearing them. However I wore them all day to a concert before really breaking them in, so I expected there to be some blistering. Overall great shoe! Wish I had bought them sooner.
