Anyone else tired of all the cats in their house taking over the human sitting areas? With 8 cats and a large dog, sitting space is at a premium. Word to the wise - if you have multiple, go bigger than you think you need. I got the "small", should have gone with the large as only two cats can fit on it at a time. This is a nice design compared to the normal "giant pillow in a sack" variety of pet bed. You will want to extract the cushions from their compression packaging and give them ample time to breath (two days is good) before inserting into the sofa casing. Assembly is easy and the zippers have held up well to larger-than-intended "guests" (85lb dog, 11 year old boy child) borrowing cat sofa for nefarious uses. Very soft. OMG this is one of the most adorable purchase I've made for the kittens! Super easy to assemble- I imagine disassembly for cleaning will be just as easy. Great quality in all the materials including the zippers. And best of all? THE KITTENS ARE ACTUALLY USING IT!!! All cat owners know it's a toss-up on whether or not the cat prefers the product or the box it came in. For size reference- Sir Noxington III was about 8.5 lbs in the photo. His sister is 6 lbs. This is a very nice bed. The cover is thick and very soft. Offers ideal support for any cat nap position. Easy to assemble and really looks luxurious for a cat bed. I’d sleep on it! But, unfortunately, my cat won’t. She only likes the cheap $15 bed I bought her. All my attempts to upgrade her bed fall short to the cheap bed. Very nice! looks comfy! The KitKats needed a nice cozy bed (another one) they have many, but I actually bought this one for the dog, however, the spoiled rotten cats took it over, so I have to buy another one for the dog, although I'm certain the cats will just take that one over, too! such is cat parent life. if you know, you know! >^..^< Anyway, very easy to put together, as you can see from the picture you will get all these different sections that are sealed, looks like chopped up bits of foam, kinda like the My Pillow, and you just stuff them in the correct compartment and zip it up. I like that you can remove the padding in order to wash the cover. this is very important when you have a stinky dog. she loves going outside to roll in the wet leaves and then come inside smelling like a moldy old shoe that was left out in the rain!!! 0_o Maybe the dog will get to sleep in it, who knows! I told her she needs to be more assertive, but she just gives me the side-eye! she knows those kitties have claws! I'm thinking I will wait for the price to come down because when I bought this it was $35 and now it is $46...what the heck!! Pierre, who absolutely hates cat beds, loves THIS cat bed. The 1st he has ever used and enjoyed in his 15 years. Every other bed didn’t even pass the sniff test - he would never consider even stepping on them.
