Taste is great Cooks well in dutch oven A little skimpy on the meat but also not loaded with fat which is a big plus so its a win You can beef up the beef by buying boneless to go with it but you need some with the bone for more flavor The boneless will overcook if you leave them in as long as the bone-in ribs so take them out sooner and set aside Read more

I just got my order today and holy wow, the short ribs are awesome! Fresh, lots of marbling and big (my hand is in there for scale). Not sure why other reviews are so bad, short ribs are supposed to be fatty with a wide, flat bone in it. They're perfect for braising or roasting. Sear em until brown, add wine and herbs and braise those bad boys until tender. Delivery was on time and condition of everything was perfect. Incredibly disappointing extremely fatty and poor quality
Mostly fat bone and gristle very little meat very disappointing for the price! This is poor quality and not the typical whole foods high quality meat! Coming from a very experienced chef I was a personal chef in Beverly hills with people who have very high standards and I have very high standards when it comes to ingredients. This was a complete Miss for me! Even with my homemade dry rub and organic barbecue sauce the meat itself tasted bland and had no flavor. This does not taste like grass-fed beef! This tastes like cheap corn-fed beef!!! I have half a mind to ask for a refund five ribs cost $36 that is highway robbery! When they cooked they cooked down to be half the size I drained off over a half a pound of fat in the first to cook a total of 10 oz of fat not to mention the fat I had to trim off while eating.
