We have three of these (I accidentally threw one in a tree - embarrassing), and they are great toys, especially the orange one. Sometimes my dog has a hard time spotting the green one in lakes and in the ocean. The rope makes it very easy to give these toys a decent toss. They are the most buoyant water toys we've found, and they are also easy to grab and hold while swimming due to the durable covering. The problem we have with slippery rubber or plastic floating fetch toys is that she can't always grab them on the first try, and sometimes she ends up swimming in circles trying to get them. My fear is that she'll ingest too much salt or lake water or possibly aspirate the water. I've stopped using all plastic toys and only use these. My only wish is that they came in orange, yellow, pink... The green doesn't contrast enough with the water. If she doesn't see exactly where the green one lands, (I keep her at sit and stay and release her once I've thrown the toy), she can have a hard time finding it especially in moving bodies of water. Note well: These are not chew toys. My dog is a heavy chewer, so these toys stay in the trunk. Read more

We love these. We found one that someone lost in the creek and ordered one when we lost it. Excellent water fetching toy. We love chuckit brand stuff and were very satisfied. Have lost these at dog pool day and when I'm just not willing to swim to fetch it myself when I get it stuck on fallen logs in too fast streams for my dogs and have liked everyone we buy to replace the ones stolen or lost. Quality is always consistent from this brand. Very visable and fabric has not torn even after extensive tugging games. It is light enough for corgis however if you want to mimmick the weight of a duck for training this is probably a little too light. Read more

Awesome toy! I was given my Pit Bull Mix's favorite toy from the shelter when I first adopted her, but with time it began to wear out and I searched for a replacement. Fortunately, I found these on here and ordered one and two days later, my dog could not be happier. The only drawback I have had is the rope handle seems to tear quickly and was cut off not long after the new one arrived. Read more

I HAVE AN ELEVEN MONTH OLD 85 LB CHESAPEAKE BAY RETRIEVER WHO IS BUMPER CRAZY... ALL THE HARD PLASTIC TRAINING BUMPERS LAST ONLY A FEW MINUTES... HE GOES THROUGH THEM LIKE A BUZZ SAW. THE CHUCKIT BUMPER IS GREAT !! VERY RUGGED, LIGHT AND EASY TO THROW. IT SAILS THROUGH THE AIR WELL AND IT FLOATS HIGH IN THE WATER. MY CHESSIE LOVES HIS CHUCKIT SO MUCH HE SLEEPS WITH IT. I HAD ONE THAT WA STILL GOING STRONG AFTER A YEAR AND I HUNG IT UP HIGH IN A TREE. THE NEW ONE IS JUST AS TOUGH. A MUST HAVE IF YOU HAVE AN ACTIVE DOG WHO IS ROUGH ON HIS TOYS. Read more

After using a couple other water toys with my dog, I added this to my last Amazon order. I usually pay $6-$8 for dog toys, but was not hesitant to buy this one for $10 as I have several other Chuck-It toys that we've enjoyed using. They are very durable products and this water bumper is no different. It's heavy duty and I especially love how solid the rope is attached to the bumper. The green one arrived and my Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Lab mix loves playing with this in and out of water. She seems to be able to see this a lot better than the others too! Would definitely buy this again if ours gets lost or destroyed :) Read more

It didnβt even last us a full day at the beach. My dog was well supervised, the toy was just used for retrieving not chewing, and after half a day the end plastic tore off and the fabric was fraying. Very disappointing- older models didnβt tear up like this. Maybe the construction changed. Read more

Absolutely love these, almost as much as my dogs love them! They work great in the water too. Highly recommended! They aren't made of steel, so the dogs need to be watched because they can chew them up pretty quickly, but two of them play tug of war every night with one, and they hold up better than expected. They've killed a couple of them by pulling the rope off the bumper, but the bumper is still fine to play with. Read more

The product is fine but the way they advertise it makes you think your getting 2 which is not the case. Read more
