I’ve been wearing this skirt for a bit now and it’s one of those pieces that just works without much effort. The first thing I noticed is how flattering the fit is. It sits nicely at the waist and the wrap style with the tie adds a little shape without feeling tight or uncomfortable. It is on the shorter side, but not in a way that feels too much. It still feels wearable for going out, casual days, or even just running errands. The fabric feels light and airy which makes it really comfortable, especially in warmer weather. It has a nice flow to it when you walk, and the layered design gives it a little extra movement that makes it look a bit more put together. The pattern is also really cute in person. It is not too loud but still adds some color so it does not feel plain. One thing I did pay attention to was how secure it feels since it is a wrap style. So far it has stayed in place well and I did not have any issues with it shifting around while walking. I still made sure to tie it well just to be safe, but it did not feel like something I had to constantly adjust. If I had to point out anything, it would just be that the length might not be for everyone. If you prefer something longer or more coverage, this might feel a bit short. Also on windy days you might have to be a little mindful because of how light the fabric is. Overall, it is a really cute and easy skirt to throw on. I absolutely love this ruffle wrap skort. It has the look and feel of a department store or boutique skirt without the expensive price tag. The top layers of material are soft and very airy. I would also describe the shorts that are attached underneath as also being very lightweight as well. A lot of pieces that have shorts built and have that overall appearance that you can tell. This is not one of those. I really love the look of a feminine and flirty skirt without having to worry about a gust of wind or bending over to pick up a little one. This is the perfect addition to your wardrobe, simply because it is so versatile. It can easily be dressed up for the office or dressed down or a casual day of errands and play dates. The length is perfect! Based on the size chart, I should have ordered a size small according to my measurements, but chose to get the medium instead, and I am so glad I did! The skirt fits perfectly in medium, although I usually am a size small and wear a 0 to 2 size pants. I would definitely suggest sizing up if you are even close to the next size bracket according to measurements on their size chart. Overall, I am very impressed with this skort and it definitely checked all of the boxes for me. I love how the skirt is so flowy and flattering. I feel like the wraparound design and the fact that it ties at the waist with a bow is such a feminine and fun feature. The waistband is thick and stays in place. Mrs Aloha Friday is a petite gal. At just 5'1" the skirt is just above her knees. The shorts underneath act more like a slip, both in the silky material and the loose size. They're not like a snug, biker shorts kind of style. There are two main layers of ruffly skirt, and then a third that crosses over the front that's sewn to one of the sashes so it lays over the other two layers when you tie the bow. Mrs AF says the fabric flows like rayon and is semi transparent without the slip shorts. It's black with little sprays of earth toned colored flowers. She took photos with measurements and says they're in keeping with the size chart. She got an XL, or a 16, instead of her usual medium or sometimes large, because she finds clothing here generally runs small, but it wasn't necessary for this item. At least the elastic waist and sash make a larger size very forgiving if you go too large or too small. Lastly, she said that you can trim off the shorts if you want to just have a sheer skirt to layer over leggings. Read more
This is a really cute skirt/shorts style, and I love the pattern and layered design. It has a fun look and would be great for going out or for summer events. The fit was true to size, and the material felt lightweight and comfortable. However, it just wasn’t the most flattering on me personally. I typically don’t wear skirts or shorts and was trying something new, so the style just didn’t suit me as well as I hoped. This flowy skort is flattering on. The material and print are pleasant. I like the design with the faux wrap around and built in shorts. It's versatile to style it up or down. This layered floral faux-wrap skirt is such a great find. I ordered it for my daughter in college but wanted to check the fit before sending it - and I’m happy to say it’s truly TTS. You can absolutely trust the size chart (thank you!!). I'm a size 4 and ordered the small - and it fits perfectly. I especially love the elastic in the back. Unlike true wrap skirts that can shift or slide around, this one stays comfortably in place while still giving that flattering wrap look. It’s easy to put on, comfortable to wear, and feels secure. The floral print has a perfect boho vibe for the season, and it can easily be dressed up or down. It would look adorable with sneakers for a casual day or wedge heels for something a little more polished. The length is just right - not too short to feel inappropriate, but not that awkward in-between knee length either. For the price, this feels like something you’d find in a cute boutique.
