This waist bag is perfect for traveling! The quality is outstanding — the material feels durable and the zippers are smooth and strong. It has plenty of compartments to keep everything organized, from passport and phone to wallet and keys. It’s comfortable to wear and fits securely around the waist without feeling bulky. Very practical for both city tours and outdoor adventures. I’m really happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone who travels often. Read more

This was a perfect bag for our recent trip to Europe. I was looking for a lightweight, small sling to wear along with my travel backpack. The lack of structure was perfect for my needs although I wouldn't have minded one more slim zippered pocket opposite from the one already inside. If I took my packable day pack on a day trip, I could use this as an organizer inside the larger pack. What I fit inside--passport & slim wallet in inside zippered pocket; lip balm/sunscreen in tiny inside pocket; 500 ml water flask, protein bar, sunglasses, small battery charger in main compartment; iPhone in outer zippered pocket. Love the 2-way zipper--very practical. Read more

I bought this bag and the Baggallini that was a similar size and I kept this bag for a recent trip to Japan. I preferred this bag because it has less rightness to it. I was able to fit the day to day items I needed, plus a little more since the bag expands a bit. Day to day I carried in the zippered compartment inside bag, my passport and cardholder. One day I had 3 passports stored. In the main compartment I had a notebook for my stamps, tissues, cellphone & cellphone charger (not pictured), wipes and sunglasses. I was able to store a bottle of greentea but I only did that one day. The outer compartment I had chapstick, pen and loose coins. I felt the Baggallini bag was heavier and didn’t move with me when I wore it like a sling. I did like the zipper security on it along with the zipper function. I also didn’t like the extra fabric on the sides of the Baggallini. Read more

I have the full-size lite sling and I wanted something a little smaller for everyday use. The popular Lulu bag is just too small for me at 1L and the strap is too short. This Bellroy lite mini is the perfect size for my everyday bag and the strap is long enough to wear crossbody and over jackets. The sling has one outer pocket that is pretty shallow so I only keep my earbuds and a small magnetic power bank. There’s a slim inner pocket that I use for a minimalist wallet. I wish there was one more divider or a mesh pocket on the inside to help keep everything from just floating around. The material is very light and does a great job of flattening or expanding with the contents and by the way the side straps are attached. The color I got is called “shadow” and looks like it’s black with a hint of dark blue. It goes with everything and the dark fabric stays clean looking. Read more

I sported the current generation made from DuraLite nylon for about 1.5 weeks. The carry was efficient. I came from an Aer Day Sling 2, which when packed out, felt like a long brick on one's back or chest. I tried the Alpaka Tech Sling and the Mini as well as the Aer Slim Pouch 2 (1.5L). I also tried out the Bellroy Sling Mini in Melbourne black. It has a texture where it'd be a lint trap. Things I like: - lightweight fabric - cavernous main compartment, fits Nintendo Switch easily - long key strap - 4L seems like a lot: one could fit a travel size umbrella, a regular wallet, a small phone, mints, hand sanitizer and soft-covered sunglasses. Things I don't like: - price, expensive for what it is. Bellroy is banking on its brand image to upcharge. - zipper pulls are ugly. - last generation had a better shoulder strap of seat belt fabric. That being said, the Shadow fabric which is diamond ripstop polyester seems to hold a flatter structure when partially filled compared to the Duralite black fabric. Shadow is a previous iteration of this same Lite Sling Mini. The Shadow fabric is just slightly heavier than the current gen (2025) black. This sling is less oblong than the other style, Aer Day Sling 2, Bellroy Venture Sling 2.5L, and Code of Bell X-Pod II. Fits my EDC needs now. Read more

I absolutely love the Bellroy Lite Sling Mini in Ash. It's become one of my favorite everyday carry items. The size is just right, compact and minimal, yet surprisingly spacious for the essentials. I can easily fit my phone, wallet, keys, hand sanitizer, and a few extras without it ever feeling bulky. The ash color is subtle but unique, giving the sling a clean, modern look that pairs effortlessly with almost any outfit. The lightweight fabric makes it super comfortable to wear for long periods, and I love how the material feels both durable and soft to the touch. The build quality is excellent, just what you'd expect from Bellroy, smooth zippers, smart layout, and attention to detail throughout. It’s great for walks, errands, or quick outings when I don’t want to carry a full bag. I also really appreciate the way it molds to the body and doesn’t feel awkward when worn across the chest or back. Practical, stylish, and incredibly well-designed, I couldn’t be happier with it.
