My one-year old pittie is 60lbs and has severe allergies to EVERYTHING, she's on medicated food and all the crazy things, and so I was trying to find something that wouldn't mess up her regimen by her ingesting it. This is PERFECT. She loves her medium sized Benebone! She carries it everywhere haha. I have three other big dogs, and got the largest one for my 110lb German Shepherd and she also loves it. I keep an eye on the edges and sand them down if I find anything sharp. These things are TOUGH. My pitbull can eat a massive bully stick in less than ten minutes, and she's barely made a dent in this thing! My GSD is a little more delicate and likes to savor and enjoy her toys, so hers isn't progressing as fast. She eats Yak Chews in around 30 minutes (and those things are like concrete!) I think these will easily last a month, possibly more, and for the price you can't beat it. The value is insane. I spend maybe 200$ a month on rawhide alternatives and bully sticks and yak chews for them, and these 14$ things last infinitely longer. BTW these things hurt like a mother trucker when you step on them, so keep an eye on where they are haha they're big and heavy! Read more
These Rings are the start of the very best frozen dog treats at a very low cost, and they are reusable! Mix finely chopped apple with canned paté dog food or peanut butter, then fill the cups in several Rings and freeze. Our Sadie, a Golden Retriever, loves the treats in a chew toy! Highly recommend for those dog that are love to chew. I have bought multiple chew toys for my 8 month old heeler/lab mix...nothing survives more than a day. This one has been the best so far and will normally last a few days. We'll worth the money. The trick is found I buy a few of the Benebone branded items and it stretches out the lifespan of the toy, due to him having multiple options and not focusing on just the one. Read more
Our lab loves this benebone. It is durable and lasts. However as they chew it can get sharp little bits, but that is when we move on to the next one. We like to rotate the benebones as the different flavors and shapes keep him interested longer. Read more
My German Shepherds love these things you can freeze peanut butter in them or stuff treats in them and it keeps them busy they are like Nyla material too so there great for Heavy strong chewers. Read more
Bought for our 75lb heavy chewer grand puppy. He chomps and chews and tosses it and flips it with his paws.. so fun to watch him chase after it. He has had other shapes of the benebone but this circle is his favorite. And place a dab of peanut butter in the little cup and he is occupied for a long time.
