Didn't work for me, fridge is just designed poorly.
I took my time with this installation and I know it was done correctly, but sadly it did not turn out to be the fix all I was hoping. It did buy some more time between freeze-ups, but in the end I still had to fight the tray out and clean out the iceberg from between the ice maker and the side of the box. Feel free to give it a try, but I am not satisfied with this product as a solution to this terrible design. Read more
I finally have ice!
Easy to install with the video. Not sure why they don’t come with this upgrade out of the factory but this has been great. Still have to de-ice the maker two or three times per year but it never gets to the point where it is an all day affair just trying to get the stupid thing to work. This fits great and is a great set to buy especially for the price. Read more

I can't believe that the problem of icing is solved with KY ice maker. I almost gave up on having the RF263BEAESR samsung ice msker work again. But it is and it is great. Holy cow, this may be it!
I have fought with my Samsung ice maker for literally 5 years. Always freezing up and needing to be manually defrosted about every 3-4 weeks. I have gone through every how to video and applied every fix suggested. Finally, I found this solution suggested. I swapped out the original tube with this one and so far I have not had any frost issues in the I've maker! Hallelujah! Read more
Fixed my fridge
The defrost was taking 3 to 4 cycles , no longer , 1 cycle and done . Success .i did read someone had to do some trimming on the main unit for the heater , so did i , side cutters just a little trim to make it sit in flush . Read more
