I am a short apple shaped woman and always have a very difficult time finding tops that are flattering but this one actually looks good on me. I had my girlfriend hem it a couple of inches and it is just perfect, it's my new favorite top. I wish they had it in more patterns, I'd buy more. Does not run small or large so order your usual size. Update; I loved this top so much I just bought another one (they added more patterns). I wore it last night and I will say that these are one of the few tops that flatter my short, apple shape body. I'm 63, barely five foot and weight 170 and it's all in my torso; big tummy, bust and hips, normal size arms and legs, essentially I'm like a big round meatball with arms and legs so imagine how hard of a time I have finding tops that don't make me want to weep. This top is beautiful, I ordered the black with white stem floral pattern and just like the blue paisley one that I got last year, it is actually flattering and my chin did not start to quiver when I tried it on, I actually smiled when I looked in the mirror.......if I knew how to do the upload photo thing, I'd show you what I mean. It's not boxy at all which if you're an apple shape you know how bad that can look. It fits without being clingy, I also like the small pleating in-between the shoulders on the back so that it hangs nicely over my big hips, doesn't cling or accentuate them. I have other versions and colors of this shirt as well. And got one for my daughter (which she likes). Good style, flattering. Comfortable style and material. It's more of a cotton feel. I usually size up one for a little looser fit and mine fits good. It washes good with no special treatment, warm water, hang dry. Read more

This shirt is great, EXCEPT poorly constructed. The pattern on the sleeves is completely mis-matched. The pattern coordinates with the bodice on one side, but the pattern on the other sleeve is way off-kilter and absolutely unacceptable. Looks very weird/lop-sided on. Where is the quality control? Big boo-boo on this shirt. I ordered another one and hope it is correctly matched and constructed. Sending the first one back, of course. I'm highly annoyed. **Will update the review when I receive the second one. **UPDATE ON REORDER QUALITY: Ordered a replacement for the first one that had poor quality pattern match--one sleeve coordinated with the bodice pattern, the other sleeve was obviously poorly matched when I tried it on. To be precise, the fabric pattern was lopsided. WELL, the pattern is also mismatched on the second top. The second one (size XL) fit smaller than the first although I ordered XL both times. To top it off, the fabric of second one was different--rough and not as soft and "flowy" as the first one. I give up. Two strikes and I'm out. I would love to have this top as pictured, but the real deal falls short. I won't go for three, I can't trust that the pattern will be correctly aligned or the soft flowing fabric I appreciated on the first returned top. I'm done. Read more
