Bought this to use as a beach bag, I love taking trips alone to the beach so I needed something easy to carry and multifunctional. I can't complain so far a part from wishing there was something like a plastic or firm panel to reinforce the base of the bag to help maintain its shape when removing the lunchbox/cooler. I added some cardboard to mine in order to keep the shape (see photos). The cooler bag is simple to clean and keeps food cool for a decent period of time. The size of the lunch box is pretty standard for snacks for one person which works perfectly for my solo beach trips (see photos for size). Laptop compartment is a nice little added bonus, I used it to store my beach towel. Just keep in mind that if you over fill that pocket it will compromise the comfort when on your back. The backpack straps are fixed on the laptop pocket so the entire pack could potentially unzip if not closed all the way. The straps are comfortable on the shoulders and the top handles definitely come in handy when the bag is full and as an extra spot to attach a carabiner. It's also helpful to have the luggage strap which I did use quite a bit during my vacation! The side pockets meant for bottles offer decent stretch, not sure if they would hold up a 30oz Stanley (I did test my own and pocket was not deep enough to hold a filled Stanley plus the handle on it kept from standing straight), my Brita filter bottle fit with some extra room. I love the color combo, the cream will get dirty over time after one use I've already noticed some marks. Numerous inside pockets. It travels well as it has a handle to carry it. Not arthritis friendly for me as it was difficult to grasp the zippers to close up the bottom lunch compartment. I was able to pack into the lunch bag: 2 Bottled Waters 4 Pringle Snack Cups 2 Sandwiches 2 Applesauce Snack Cups 1/2 pack of crackers 2 Homemade Chocolate Chocolate Chip Muffins 4 Paper Towels in a Sandwich Bag 1 small rectangle microwave container The zipper did not break with all these items in the lunch bag and it’s waterproof. The bag has a compartment that you put down to separate the lunch bag from the top compartment. There are pockets on the outside, 2 zippers on the top and lunch area. I was tired of lugging a purse, lunchbox and my laptop bag to work. Now, I only have to take one bag. I throw my wallet, keys, chapstick, phone, etc in the top and carry my lunch in the bottom. My laptop and papers fit nicely in the back. I've taken it on an airplane as well and it worked great for traveling. You can remove the middle compartment to make one large space if you don't want to use the lunch box. I have celiac disease and wasn't sure if I'd need my lunch box, so I left it in and just put my toiletries in there. I love it and highly recommend it. Read more
