this is either the second or third time I have bought these balls. They are of great quality, and the only reason I keep buying them is because my dog loses them when he scavenges the neighborhood. I am not crazy about the tennis type of ball because my dog likes to pull the felt cover off and then he splits the ball in half. Latex balls are amazing. My dog runs around with a ball in his mouth at all times. He has never split open a latex ball. They are bright colored and easy to see, and they work well in our ball thrower. I bought the one with the remote control thinking I would use it to swap between 10ft, 20ft and 30ft. We found when the balls have a little slobber on them they launch randomly which is more entertaining to the dogs. Should have bought the one with no control and saved some money. The media could not be loaded. At George’s 4 year vet check the Dr recommended he should lose a few pounds. He was so sad when we left because of his bad report card. So to cheer him up we bought him a pup cup (shhh don’t tell the dr) aaaannd…. this awesome new ball thrower toy! It was love at first ball! ⚽️ He’s even invited friends over to play! But the best part of all, George is down a pound! Woo hoo! Why did I give it 4 stars? I’m not sure how long the electric cord is going to last. It’s a bit wobbly where it connects to the toy. Occasionally it puts off a bit of a burning smell. That might just be the oil in the belt. I also think it would be a little safer if it came out of the machine at more of an upward angle to minimize any chance of the ball accidentally hitting your pet. Otherwise, it’s a great product overall. It’s not too loud and there are nice rubber feet to keep it in place during playtime. We’ve noticed it launches the little rubber balls better than the fuzzy ones but both work as long as they aren’t all covered in saliva. If you have a dog that loves playing fetch, you should definitely buy this. Read more
