Works perfectly and keeps my Moka pot working at peak performance. I have to replace the band after about 100 uses. Put a trick is to just flip it over and use it for another 100 so I get a good long cycle out of it. I usually go through one of these packs a year, and therefore replace the filter every year. If you find your moka pot is not working as well as it used to - just put a new filter in and use a new seal and you will be so impressed that the quality of your coffee is just like the first day that you bought your pot. I bought my moka pot at a thrift store and, as a result, had no idea what size I needed. While Bialetti’s sizes are in “cups,” this measurement has nothing to do with the Imperial measurement system. Rather, “cups” refers to the number of 2 oz demitasse cups a moka pot will fill. Thus, my six cup moka pot will only make about 12 oz of espresso. For the typical American, this is incredibly confusing—so take the time to find out what size you need before ordering. The gasket itself fits perfectly.
