When writing with the Glide 1.6 bold pen, it is so smooth it can be a challenge to keep your lines where you want them exactly. It’s rather like being a novice ice skater. It’s so slick you can’t stand up, if you follow my analogy. The black ink is darker than the average ballpoint ink, but not as black as gel pens. In typical ballpoint fashion, the ink will blob here and there, unfortunately, and why I can’t rate it higher. It’s comfortable to hold.
