I recently bought a flameless, rechargeable 'lighter' that is supposed to last 300 hours per charge, but even after being charged overnight and until full: it dies out on wick #2 of my 3-wick candles. I tried to be sustainable, I gave up. This pack of lighters is wonderful! You get a nice, big flame with every 'light' which is ample to light a 3-wick candle or a 1,000-candle birthday cake. We camp a lot, and I make my own fire-starters; these lighters are fantastic for reaching the fire-starter in the middle of the kindling & logs (much easier than trying to reach it with a match stick!)
