Cheaper than others

When my mom broke her arm, we purchased a similar model bidet to help during recovery. While this one was about 20% cheaper than the one we bought for my mom, it lacked some of the features that I would have gladly paid the few extra dollars for. Installation is pretty straightforward, but unlike the other model we purchased, this set did not include tape. If you don’t have some on hand, I highly recommend getting a spool of thread seal tape to help with this install. The other thing I did not like was that the splitter fitting was teflon (the other set we purchased had a metal fitting). It took about the same amount of time to install. The usage is another area where we struggled. The other model used a simple toggle that allowed you to shift position and flow with a single control. This unit has a dial that includes a setting that just drains into the toilet and a spray with only one position. The knob presses in (we couldn’t figure out why) and there is a switch on the top of the unit that looks like it should move but doesn’t. All in all, it’s serviceable and works for the secondary bathroom where we installed it, but we’ll be ordering a unit like my mom’s for the bathroom that has more traffic. Read more
