This mattress protector is the perfect size and price! I got it for a good deal, and it worked with my registry discount. I put it on the mattress and it fits perfectly. It seems like it is going to keep the mattress nice and clean from anything that may happen to it. Bought this to cover a crib mattress originally intended for my senior English bulldog. But because he is closely by my 3 years girl Bulldog, this cover has survived two playful dogs. So my review is based on using this product for animals and not small children. Since both only whine, play, eat and sleep the review is probably relevant.. Upon arrival it felt soft enough and fit snuggly that I was a little envious myself. As I took it out of its packaged, i felt like I was gallivanting through a room of soft pillows and silk..I mean who needs a snuggly when you have this thing.. The cover itself was simple to put on the mattress by just one person so no Youtube video or extra set of hands for this one. Other companies should take note..The cover to mattress was snug like a pair of pants after eating olive garden but allowed enough room for that last bite of Tiramisu. My two dogs seemed very exciting when they stepped on it but since they enjoy rolling around in mud, they have low expectations. My senior bulldog suffers from "leakage" like an aging man without Depends, so anythign he comes into contact with requires constant cleaning sicne a thin sheet covering this cover wont retain "water"..However the padding wa stick enough where the waterproof cover under this was able to protect the mattress which is more than I can say with dog beds and also why we went with a mattress..So far after 5 washes, lots of drool and leakage combined with a few wrestling matches over who was chewing the bone, this thing has held up as it should. I purchased this to go over a new large dog bed I got my pup for Christmas. She is getting old & her bladder tends to leak a little. This toddler mattress keep her expensive dog bed clean & dry. It truly is waterproof & just feels like cloth. It isn't crinkly plastic like others I have purchased. If anything, it gives her a little more padding. I then put a sheet over the mattress cover because it is white & well, dogs are dirty! If it can hold up to a 90lbs country dog with constant use, I think it would work wonders for any toddler living haha. Easy to put in the washer & comes pretty clean, a faint staining from dog urine, but that's why I put a top sheet over it. What can I say? My dog is spoiled, as all dogs should be! I have 2 of these. They’ve held up great so far, which surprised me because they do seem thin and flimsy- I didn’t want to get spendy on waterproof crib covers, so I went with these. It does it’s job for the most part...keeps any accidents from getting on the bare mattress! We frequently have accidents. I strip their cribs weekly and the covers have been champs in the washer/dryer. Overall I’m happy with these, hopefully they still have lots of life in them. Read more

Honestly, I got this to put on my senior dog’s bed that frequently has accidents and it’s been a life changer. Many other covers claim to be waterproof but from my experience, the others are nothing like this one. It’s easy to take off without spills and washes perfectly. The dark blue color doesn’t budget at all. Plus, it’s thick enough to add a little padding to her bed. I would imagine this would be perfect for toddlers. Firm fitting and durable! Read more
