The string is strong and does not easily break as frequently occurs with other brands of dental floss picks. It is reassuring that there are dental floss picks that are free of pfas - forever chemicals - that are toxic and cause systemic inflammation. This is an excellent product and is highly recommended. I ordered the Ziva Eco Improved Biodegradable Dental Floss Picks for my 12 year old to use and they’re a great option, especially if you’re looking for a more eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic flossers. These are made from corn starch, are PFAS-free, biodegradable, and designed with sustainability in mind. I also really appreciate the packaging and having 4 smaller boxes to break up the larger quantity. The floss itself is strong, shred-resistant, and didn’t break or fray. The light mint flavor is pleasant and not overpowering. In terms of performance, they work just as well as standard floss picks. The handle feels sturdy, and the floss glides smoothly between teeth without snapping, even in tighter spaces. One important thing to note, however, is that because these flossers are made from corn starch, they may not be suitable for anyone with a corn allergy or corn intolerance—like me. If you have issues with corn (or mint), there are other plant-based options out there, but for most people, these are a great option. Having said that, the best option really is old fashioned string floss, and there are great bamboo or silk options without PSAS that come with refillable metal containers if you really want to do what’s best for your wallet and the environment. For daily use, most of my family uses those, but floss picks do have their place. I keep some on hand for traveling, to tuck into my purse and car (you never know when you need a floss!), for my younger child, and for braces wearers. I’m happy that these fit the bill and check all the important boxes. Overall, if you’re looking for an effective, PFAS-free, and environmentally friendly floss pick and don’t have a corn sensitivity, these are a solid choice and a great step toward reducing plastic waste and forever-chemical exposure. I'm somewhat new to using dental floss picks. I've only used (known about) them for a couple years now, but they sure beat just the floss string wrapped on my fingers, lol! These floss picks are well designed for size and ease of getting to those hard to reach spots. They are just the right size for me, as a female of 60+ years old. Easy to hold and easy to use, both the floss end and the pick end. I like that the pick end is curved in the same direction as the floss is located. I had another brand that they curved the pick end away from the floss side and it just made it awkward for me to use. The floss is single stranded, which I prefer. These have a mild mint flavor that is almost tingly, once it gets noticeable during use. I like that it is not overpowering. I have noticed that the more I have the pick end in my mouth, the softer and more flexible it gets. I guess that is due to them being made of corn starch, but I'm fine with that. Actually, that was one of the reasons I chose these as it said they are biodegradable and with all the plastic waste there is now a days, I'm happy for something that is not going to still be here in a few hundred years. The pick works great for getting food that is wedged into a tight spot in my teeth to come out. I'm happy with these dental floss pick and definitely will recommend them. They do what they're meant to, easy to use, and good for the environment too. The current price (12-30-2025) of $12.99 seems to be a fair value for these good quality floss picks, in my opinion. I would purchase these again. Read more

I like everything about these flossers. The floss hasn’t broken or pulled out of the handle like other name brands I’ve tried. My teeth do cause the floss to shred a bit but it hasn’t impacted the usability and I haven’t had the floss shred to the breaking point. The handle flexes and deform when applying pressure to get between tight teeth quite a bit more than competitors in this arena but that is likely due to their composition of starch instead of plastic. I cant vouch for their eco claims but overall this product works and if the claims are true it’s great for sustainability. Read more

I’m one of those people who cannot handle having food stuck in my teeth. It drives me crazy, so I floss after every single meal. Because of that, I’m pretty picky about floss picks—and these have quickly become my go-to. First off, they actually work. The floss is strong and smooth and gets between tight teeth without shredding or snapping, which is huge when you’re using them multiple times a day. Nothing is more annoying than a flimsy pick that falls apart mid-floss, and I’ve had zero issues with these. And trust me, I have tried MANY other brands that don’t hold up. I also really like how comfortable they are to use. The handle has a good grip and doesn’t slip around, so flossing feels easy instead of awkward. The little cleaning tip on the end is a nice bonus too—it’s perfect for knocking loose stubborn bits of food and gently massaging the gums. Another big plus for me is that they’re made from plant-based materials. It feels good knowing I’m not creating unnecessary plastic waste for something I use so often. And with so many in the pack, I keep them everywhere—home, car, work, travel bag—so I’m never without one. If you’re someone who hates that “something stuck in my teeth” feeling as much as I do and wants a floss pick that’s sturdy, comfortable, and a little more eco-friendly, these are absolutely worth it.
