Unless you really want to waste money on an inferior product, look no further!!! Love the design, with both top and palmer support bars that provide maximum, comfortable support. After injuring my wrist, I developed two painful "trigger" fingers (where the knuckle would lock in a closed position). Had sore joints where the fingers meet the hands. I tried an inferior design with just the palmer support and it provided only partial relief. Have to tell you I was getting desperate for relief when I ordered the Bioskin brace. And man, when I first put it on the difference was immediate! The dual support bars are an awesome design by themselves but the cinching strap designs (the four straps wrap in alternating directions, providing maximum adjustment ability). The velcro straps also provide a very low profile; no clumsy strap buckles to catch on clothing, etc. And if the brace wasn't enough (and it is!) Bioskin has a top notch Customer Service group. I had a minor issue with the brace when I contacted them (nothing that would have changed my opinion of the brace). I worked with Josh there; he was friendly, kind and personable. He listened and understood immediately. Their response was to send me a new brace, even though I didn't ask for that. I'm a retired customer service professional and I'm here to tell you it does NOT get any better than this!!l Bioskin has an excellent product backed up by better customer service. Very highly recommended! Will be the first place i look if I ever need another brace! Read more
I've bought ALLLLLLL the wrist braces out there - this one by far is the best! It is not bulky like all the others and I get the exact restraint I'm looking for. I use it to help when my tennis elbow flares up. I can wear my work gloves over it without issue or them getting stretched out as well. I'm pretty hard on mine and so far it's holding up. I definitely recommend this brace and when this one gives out on me, I will for sure be buying another. Read more
This wrist brace is worth every penny! It's fully customizable with 4 adjustable velcro straps (including a thumb one). The 6-inch long version is perfect for keyboarding, mousing/scrolling, and any other light office or housework (other reviews state the 8-inch long version gets in the way). The brace provides full finger and thumb range of motion while keeping your wrist securely braced. There are two sturdy metal bands (one top, one bottom). The bottom band is slightly angled toward the top to better conform with the center of your palm and allow it to rest on the (padded) bar comfortably. I tried a few different wrist braces and nothing compares to this, in terms of flexibility, customization, and comfort. For example, the Featol brand was fine for a cheap, bulky wrist brace at night, but useless for office work. Meanwhile, the more expensive Copper Compression brand was (initially) good for office work but rubbed the skin off my wrist due to a design flaw that let the velcro touch my skin. In other words, don't skimp if you need to brace while working! BioSkin is the gold standard for daytime/office use. This is quality American craftsmanship, and it's hypoallergenic. You can see--and more importantly, feel--the difference. BioSkin offers 30-day money back guarantee plus a 90-day warranty against defects in material or workmanship. Their email and phone number are included, along with how to return it. You can also call the number to talk to a real human for product advice and education. The brace comes in a sturdy, reusable box. Read more
It’s supportive and well-designed, but it does show signs of wear sooner than I’d like. Still worth it for the comfort and wrist stability it provides. I’ve been using this brace for medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow), and it has consistently outperformed cheaper alternatives. I wear it mainly at night, and it helps reduce strain by keeping my wrist in a neutral position while I sleep. Support-wise, it’s excellent. The internal reinforcement bars stabilize the wrist comfortably, and the adjustable straps make it easy to get a snug fit with one hand. That said, after regular use, it’s starting to show some wear. The printed logo is rubbing off, and the Velcro is beginning to look a little frayed. It's still holding together fine, but I wouldn't expect it to look new after extended use. For washing, I recommend a mesh laundry bag to help preserve it longer. The material is soft and breathable, and I’ve had no skin irritation from wearing it overnight. The overall design is low-profile and comfortable enough for long stretches. Read more
This is the third Bioskin brace I've purchased. I had one for each wrist for different reasons, but my dog chewed up the left one. I recently had surgery on my wrist and didn't find the thermoplastic one supportive or comfortable enough, so I bought another Bioskin brace and opted for the shorter version. I was a little nervous that the length might not be long enough to cover the incision, but it is. And my positive experiences with this brand continues. I love that there are four different Velcro straps that allow a really customizable fit, and they stay in place until removed. There are also two metal bars that help hold your wrist in place and prevent flexing in either direction, not just on the palm side. Read more
