I've used a lot of vacuum cleaners in my life, but this cost-effective sweeper is GREAT! I have always used Bissel most of my life so I tried two other top brands the last 10 years just because my husband likes to try new items with great advertising. I am so glad I came back to Bissel, first off, we can afford it, second it is light, quiet, easy to handle, cleans remarkably well and edges great. Second, they take care of our furry friends, Third, I wish I would have spent a little more to get a few more attachments and features (which I'm sure work great because the ones I got work wonderful). Thank You Bissel for a great product and thank you Amazon for recommending fine products! Read more

This is a great vacuum. It sucks up SO much dirt and dog hair. It’s easy to empty as well. It took me some time to get used to how the cord comes out at the bottom because if you’re not holding the cord, the vacuum will roll over the cord. But overall great vacuum for the price. Read more

After having my dirt devil for over 6 years I decided to switch to a Bissell. Keep in mind the dirt devil worked for me for many years. I knew it was time to get a new one. I vacuumed regularly. I used this Bissell on one area rug and I was shocked at the amount of debris it sucked up! It’s not overly large but big enough to vacuum my entire 1300 square foot home. It’s easy to maneuver, and has powerful suction. The pick up speed is incredible. Needless to say, I am very happy with this vacuum. Read more

After three months of owning and using this, I feel confident enough to leave an honest review. This vacuum to me is an "old fashioned" vacuum cleaner-the kind I grew up with. Big, powerful, heavy to push around, but absolutely superb at vacuuming. In fact, the old vacuum cleaners that this reminds me of never came close to the power and efficiency of this unit. My rugs have never looked so obviously clean. I couldn't be happier with those results. This week for the first time I took it apart to clean (including the roller brush). I want to make sure I maintain the vacuum as well as I can to get as much use out of it and maintenance is important. Taking the tank apart and cleaning the filter was a breeze. I used lukewarm soapy water to clean the filter and then left it to dry for a few hours outside. The same can't be said for the plastic piece that holds the brush roller in place. There are six tiny screws to deal with and they are not easy to remove. My husband gave me a hand with that task, but it was still a pain. That is really the only reason I did not give this five stars. Other than that, a real winner 👍. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This little very light weight machine has exceeded all my expectations. Purchased in August 2024 and used weekly. When I need to get the job done and dont have time for the high end Rainbow vacuum, I use this little guy. When I first unboxed it I thought what a cheap little piece of crap I'm going to send it back. But then I used it. This little vacuum has a lot of suction power and really gets the job done. You do have to empty the canister frequently. I have small animal pets and suck up bedding from off the floor. I've only had a hose blockage once and even that was relatively easy to resolve. One thing I do wish was that the electric cord was a bit longer. However for the money it's been a blessing. I would highly recommend washing the filter monthly as they state in the handbook. I haven't been doing that as directed and was noticing it wasn't doing as great of a job as it should have and was leaving dust on my floor. Once I fixed that problem it was a go. When this one dies I'll most likely buy another one. Read more

Great vacuum for the price. Put together in about 5mins with no tools. Has great suction & picked up a ton of dog hair my last vacuum missed. Also super easy to dump out the dust bin. Pleasantly surprised by this vacuum! Read more

The pickup speed of this masterpiece is remarkably swift. Personally, I had anticipated that you would need to pass the cleaning tool over the dust (or whatever substance you are cleaning) twice or once, depending on the level of dustiness or dirtiness. Furthermore, the size and build quality are also commendable, with the quality being exceptionally durable and the size being perfectly suited for compact closets. Read more

Economy. Four stars maybe, if this price point is taken into consideration and if I’m generous. It’s cheap. It has suction. It’s lightweight. Relatively* quiet. Those are the good things. If you use it regularly (more than once a week) it seems like it’s going to need replacing after a year or so. But for under 100 that’s ok, those landfills need feeding. The beaters do not turn off in the upright position so when you’re using the ridiculously short wand, the beaters are still going and wasting power to run them. No disengagement / separation of wand and upright. The wand is short, the handle is hip high on my 5’8” body, so if you’re taller than 5’ nothing you need to bend low or get on hands and knees to do wall crevices. It REALLY should come with an additional extension tube fitting! But it doesn’t. I even checked the included items list, because it is 100% needed. It doesn’t have hepa filter, just a foam disc. No swivel (I picked the wrong option) All dirt goes the full length of the hose before entering canister (no direct from floor beater opening into canister). It does seem to pick up pretty good though. If you pick it up by its intended “handle” on the canister and your palm hits the inconveniently placed “empty canister” button (which, I promise you, will happen) the canister disengages from the base, opens and spills dirt. Fun! Counter-set that button Bissel! It’s so easy to solve and will use even less material. You can’t angle it very low at all or the beater lifts off the floor. Want to clean under the coffee table? Grab a tool. Get on your hands and knees = assume the sucking position. It seems this is one of those items that the more I describe it, the more stars I want to take off and more I consider returning it. Read more
