I AM SOOOOOOO IN LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT. Children and babies are always in my home and I LOVE the fact that I can cover and protect my beautiful carpet and still be able to enjoy looking at it. The thickness is perfect and the size was just right. I can sweep and mop on it and my carpet is still protected. So glad I found this clear chair mat. I will buy again for another room. This chair mat has been perfect for my office. It fits great under my desk and protects my hardwood floors from scratches and wear. The size is just right for my chair to roll smoothly without slipping or catching. The plastic feels sturdy and durable, not flimsy, and it stays in place well. The material is thinner than a regular chair mat and stretchable. I placed a chair mat on top as I feared the chair coasters would cause the material to stretch over time. I use hobby paints and wanted ensure the flooring would get damaged. Read more

I bought this for underneath a computer chair that is used many hours daily. I got the large size and put it completely under the desk, up to the corner walls and extended it out from the desk about 5 feet (for the chair). I was able to easily cut a hole for the heat vent. It lays nicely flat and doesn't show any wear yet (6 weeks). It seems very durable. It's not slippery with socks on. I just wish I had gotten this sooner to protect my hardwood. It looks great! The black color does show any lint or crumbs that get on it (whether you find that a positive or a negative), but it's easy to sweep clean. Read more
Our dog is getting older and has a lot of accidents. She ruined an area rug even though we tried to clean it numerous times. We ended up buying a new rug and bought this floor protector. The only problem we have it that it is slippery but just needed to get some wear and tear to get rid of the slippery problem. It is thick. It has made our life so much easier. Read more
