Protects my wood floors without hiding the wood
Allows my wood floors to show through and offers good protection from chair scrapes and dropped food. Ordered to place under counter top chairs on my kitchen island and they work perfectly. Because of the angle of the counter (kind of a number 7 shape) , I needed to be able to cut for a good fit into the inner angle and the material was easy to cut. I like the clear material of the runner and the finish on the upper side is smooth so chairs scoot easily, but the backside has some traction so the runner is slip resistent. Runner fabric is thick enough to allow for slight padding, but not thick enough to cause tripping. I appreciate that I don't have to worry about stains or scratches on my wood floors anymore and clean up is easy as top is smooth so there's no crevices for spills to hide in. I just wipe down, or use a mop. Read more
