This DustBuster is terrific. It‘s lightweight and has a powerful suction. It works very well in hard to reach areas because of its built-in extension. It does a great job in my home and my car. It is easy to empty and clean. Read more

This is a nice rechargeable cordless vacuum. My new vehicle doesn't have an accessory jack (cigarette lighter Plug) up front. I used it for the first time today, Dec. 26, 2025. It picked up the loose sand-we have sand here in Florida, that was on my floor mats and in my seats. It is very convenient to use. I don't have to drag out an extension cord for a vacuum cleaner. I bought this and have used it now for 2 months. Upon opening, I followed the instructions to the letter--thus when it arrived I charged it completely for about 24 hours. I then used it for about a total of 20-25 minutes until it wouldn't work and charged it again overnight. This is to set up the battery correctly and is a common battery operated charging regimen. Follow it and you likely eliminate future problems and the experience of saying it loses charge quick. The suction is strong. I'm not sure what people are expecting but it's a hand held vacuum. I've used them since the original dust buster, dirt devil etc. etc. This one will pick up sawdust, hair, dust, spilled flour, rice, sand. It did an ok job in the car. There is a tool for nooks and crannies. That thing extends out of the main nozzle. It helped for harder to reach spaces. There is a flip down brush type thing that worked ok on book shelves and furniture. Proper dusting is done with a rag and pledge or somesort of concoction anyway. It does not have a charging light. Just sort of figure that when you charge it, you probably have left it for a few hours before using it again. If you're using it as a light duty hand held--you picked up a spill, found something to clean for a few minutes, then likely it'll charge back to full quickly. If you used it for 10-15 minutes, figure a few hours on the charger will bring it back up to par for the next use. I don't need a charging light for that but I suppose it would have been nice. Worst case scenario is it ran out of battery--well then I just charge it without use overnight. Voila. It has a wall hanging unit. The charger is not built into the wall hanging unit. I just mounted the hanging unit close enough that with the plug in the outlet, it reaches---common sense. It comes apart easily--used the manual to understand how to empty it routinely. Used the manual how to understand how to take it a step further, pop out the filter and give the filter a good clean or even a rinse under water (let it dry fully if you do that--common sense). The waste container is clear. I can see when it's nearing full and empty it at that point as it works best (as does ANY vacuum) when it's not full. I did have the experience of hanging it up once or twice 1/2 full and a few pieces of sand or something fell straight down from the wall hanger. Now i just hold the unit over a bin for a minute tap with my hand to insure that doesn't happen but generally when I empty the unit (which is just about every time) I make sure the intake care doesn't have any strays. Some folks talk about the unit (and other units) being noisy. Some customers ask about noise. Come on. It's a hand held vacuum--it's in the category of blenders, leaf blowers and vacuums. It makes noise and again that's common sense. They don't call it the Dust Buster Whisper. That said it's not at leaf blower level or blender level or plug in vacuum level. I just wouldn't use it when your baby is napping or a loved one is on a conference call. I'd say for the money this is a solid household use dust buster and it's improved in over 25 years. I'll check back in a year if it somehow dies after a year but for now it's working fine and as designed and I picked it because of the power specs. I disregarded some reviews on a hunch that they hadn't charged it up properly . I do not expect this to go more than 15-20 minutes or so. If I have that much hand held vacuuming to do, it maybe that I need to use the regular vacuum. That all said, i can pretty much do a 30 X 30 room for spot stuff, the kitchen nooks and crannies, the bathroom, the window sills in a single charge--for spot cleaning, tidy up. Read more

Had the same one for many years. Battery finally died and ordered a new one. Used to have a base to set it one to recharge. Now it is a plug-in which is not as convenient. Strong suction, easy to handle for quick clean-ups. Read more

It works pretty well in terms of suction. I wish the battery lasted a little longer. Also, who designed this to not have ANY indicator when it's charging? There is no light or anything to let you know it's actively charging or charged, that's pretty dumb. Read more
