I like it. Our bedroom doesn't have heat so I rely on a space heater which can be dangerous. I like this one because of the low wattage. It doesn't make my outlet hot, and its got automatic shut off if it tips over. And personally I like the hour timer. Keeps it safer. Keeps my bedroom around 63 degrees. I unplug it at night. Extremely happy with this just to heat my personal desk area. It's nice & toasty, & on high it only uses 800 watts, so I'm never at risk for tripping my old house's circuit breakers. It works very well and is very comfy close up, but does not needlessly warm the entire room or house wasting energy or money. I love that it shuts itself off EVERY HOUR with a required dial timer. CAUTION: I would NOT consider this very safe to use around pets & kids because pets won't care one bit when they're getting too close, and I bet kids might think it's a toy and could easily burn their fingers. UPDATE: timer knob has broken over a year later. That means one of its main safety mechanisms is no longer working. It will need to go in the trash. Not worth the money. ——- Nice radiant heater. I use it under my desk at work. It’s just a little too warm for this on the lowest setting, and a little larger than I expected, but it works just fine. I keep it on stationary mode because it makes a faint clicking sound when it rotates, which is the only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. The safety mechanism activates if it tips, and it can only run on a timer (up to an hour), which are good safety features. Read more

If you get it on sale it is a great deal! The units heats very well, very quiet, the body does not get hot and the smell went away within first 30min. At low mine uses 370W and at high 880W. 370W is perfect on a cold day when working at a desk. The one downside is that it is "flimsy" with very lightweight construction. There is a safety button on the underside to turn it off when tipped over. Overall this is my first infrared heater and I expected it to be sketchy and a fire hazard, but it feels very safe. Great heat dish! Can lift up or down to direct the heat. It's efficient, works well and heats up quick. Two power settings, and a separate knob with a timer. Highly recommend. Price was also good. Read more

not terrible but not great. wish it had a fan but heats up and area slowly. does its job but dont expect miracles. good for small areas. good for the price. not very durable but super quiet and does alright. if you point a fan at it it really helps get the heat circulated. Read more
