The heater is compact so it will sit on table easily although i wont be using it that way for it could easily get knocked off on the floor and not cut off. It is very quiet and puts out enough heat to heat my room of 120 sq ft. The controls are quiet different to set but once you get used to using them i think they may even be better than the twist dial thermostats. It says that it is infrared heat but i dont think that it is because it has a wire inside that glows hot instead of infrared design but that dont matter because they all are only 1500 watts regulated but the heater is quiet and small and heats very well and is a good price at 31 dollars. I bought this heater last February and it worked great, I pulled it out and cleaned it up the other day and it will turn on but the fan and heating element will not work. Not even a full year's use out of this and I already have to replace it. Read more
