This does work well. Only thing is if it’s a big hole you have to do it in multiple times to create buildup. So 2-3 times and should be good as new. Follow directions and take your time. Read more

I didn't follow the directions. Instead I grabbed round car wax sponge and applied this balm in large amounts on the seat vinyl. After rubbing it in for about 10 minutes I was done, seriously. It was minimal effort and easy clean up. I used it on all of the seats and have half a jar left over. It dried quickly and was ready overnight. Wiping a clean cloth on the vinyl did not remove any color after it dried. It was applied to "vinyl leatherette" car seats made in 1968. See the attached before and after pictures. It's hard to mess this up. If too much is put on just wipe it off before it dries. Instead of dabbing the sponge I simply spooned large globs of balm onto the sponge and then quickly spread it out evenly over all surfaces. Read more

Does a good job and no problem color matching. I do find that it dries very quickly and the nozzles plug up withing a half minute of the cap being off. Read more

I bought this product to cover up some blemishes on my recliners as well as for my car. I use it in my car first as the seat seem to be losing some of the color I applied per the manufacturers recommendation however I noticed within about a week every time I was getting in and out of the car, the color of my blue jeans is now the color of my car seat. I did purchase this in a brown and in a tan this is for the brown, which I have not used due to the reaction I received from using the tan in my car. Read more

The only issues you might have is mixing the color to what you want but that's each individual persons issue, not the kit. I, personally, found this kit to be exactly what I needed and I matched the color of my vinyl RV ceiling perfectly. I had to use the pearl and one other color to get it right. Also, I did it in several steps.... let each layer dry and smoothed with a very, very light touch of alcohol (yes, it works well after it's dried) for the best end result. You can't just glob it on and then wipe with alcohol and think it's going to look good because it will be too thick to work and smooth properly. The kit, itself, is not the problem in my opinion, it's the person applying it that is either mixing it wrong (not trying various combos for the right color match) or not applying it or wiping with alcohol correctly. You can't be aggressive with it and expect a good outcome. Think of it as a painting you are making... it's art, not construction with cement. In the "after" picture attached, you'll need to zoom in to see the repairs. The left side of that picture is more visible but you can see it was done due to the wrinkle in the fabric from the previous cover that was up there (pressing into it). I still have to see if I can warm that to release the impression but nobody notices it when they visit at all. Read more

Bring a super magnifying glass to read the directions as the print is very small and the directions are printed over a background of pictures etc. In addition, the color chart is super small as well. the color match squares are each one eight by one eight of an inch each (1/8" x 1/8" ) all the colors are crowded box to box on a small sheet - virtually impossible to match a leather repair. Being its winter - nowhere on the instructions does it state preferable temperatures for application or "can be applied in any temperature) Also it does state how many drops of each color to mix once you feel you come close to the color. I haven't used the product yet, but I hope it's better than the packaging and directions. Read more

This might be okay for cheap leather fixes, but not anything substantial, its thin and is basically just paint with a binding agent. Would not purchase again. Read more
