Good, but takes some practice
This was either a Black or midnight blue color. Easy to mix/blend and apply but I had trouble getting it to lay down Smooth. Maybe if I applied in thin coats/layers or used a heat gun might have helped. The repair worked, but I wished it was smoother. It worked for me but Buyer Beware!
The good: I had a small cut (about 1/2” long) in a faux leather chair. I searched for a repair kit and landed on this one. I put a small amount of this product on the cut and carefully filled the cut. It fixed the cut, looks pretty good and seems durable. I’m delighted with the result. The bad: The photos on Amazon show all types of things repaired with this product, including textured surfaces. It is IMPOSSIBLE to match a textured surface with this product. It comes out of the tube like runny toothpaste. There’s no way to replicate a textured surface. I would have given this 4 or 5 stars except for that misleading claim. I’m satisfied with my result but be cautious based on the surface you’re trying to repair. Read more
Not worth the money!!
I had some minor tears on my car armrest and used this product. The product is described as a repair kit for leather and vinyl surfaces. I applied this product which was a very thin liquid and basically only colored the area and did not fix the tears. I could have saved the $10 and used a black sharpie marker which would have achieved the same result as this product. Read more
Great for scuffs on boots!
Got this to fix up scuffs on some boots I have and was so pleasantly surprised with how they turned out. This is how they look after one application, and I’m sure it could be even better if I did a couple of layers. Pretty easy to use, came with everything I needed and dried pretty quickly. Not a miracle repair but helps disguise scratches and bare spots
It’s basically a paint so it’s not actually going to repair anything but if you have scratched or flaking spots it definitely makes them less noticeable. Read more
