I was a bit concerned when I bought this light. It was the only one I could afford when I was placing my order. I have had a regular flashlight built identically that I have had for over a decade, and a bic lighter has a brighter light. This, however, is plenty to do the job. I would imagine it just takes a little longer than the more expensive models. So if you are in my boat and need a cheap light to cure solder mask, this will do the trick.
