This mini blacklight flashlight turned out to be super handy. It’s small, easy to carry around, and really effective for finding pet messes that would otherwise go unnoticed. It lights up spots clearly so we know exactly where to clean. We mainly got it for our dogs, and let’s just say—shame on you, Roxy! It’s already saved us from a couple of surprise messes. These are perfect to carry in your bag when you stay at a hotel. I like to see where the body fluid stains are located so I can avoid them. I purchased this because I was told that USPS stamps will glow under a black light. I found some stamps in a relatives dresser, they had passed away and I wanted to see if the stamps were legit because I’d never seen the cartoony graphics before. The light isn’t overly bright but works for small areas you may need to view. It’s actually pretty cool! I had gas/power/electric lines marked in my yard this fall, with spray paint. The paint had long washed away… or so I thought! While out at night and using this little flashlight to find my black dog, I noticed the ground glowing. Where the paint had been!!!! It was awesome when we got it, and we used it for setting resin on small toys/crafts. The batteries ran out and when I replaced them (with Duracell) there was some corrosion (after 6 months of use) it overheated and stopped working when I tried to turn it on again. I had higher hopes for this to last longer than 6 months with minimal use. Read more
I am so impressed with this little guy. I ordered to replace a larger sized UV flashlight that I lost. Reading all the descriptions, I discovered that ALL the flashlights on here have the same power, even if some have wider lenses or more LEDs. Sure enough, this has the same power as my wider one, which means the beam is MUCH BRIGHTER than my old, larger model. This one included batteries, not necessary, but a big plus. I've never needed new ones. Works extremely well to find pet stains (or old food spills) anywhere in my house, and works in daylight, which my wider one did not. REally happy with this model.
