I bought these chair leg protectors to keep my hardwood floors from getting scratched and they do exactly what I needed. The silicone is nice and flexible so they fit snugly on my chair legs which are about the size range they list. I like that they have felt bottoms. It makes sliding chairs quiet and smooth without scratching the floor. I also used these on the metal legs of my bed frame. They make it really easy to move the bed around while changing the sheets, which is a nice bonus. They come in a pack of 16 which is perfect if you have multiple chairs or want some extras. The black color blends in well with my furniture so they don’t stand out. Installation was easy. Just slip them on and they stay put. Since putting these on, I haven’t noticed any new marks on my floors and the chairs move quietly. Definitely recommend if you want simple and effective floor protection. Read more

I bought these silicone chair leg covers for the second time because the first set lasted over 3 years with daily use. They fit well, protect the floor, and stay in place without slipping. Super satisfied and highly recommend – great quality for such a simple product. Read more

These work and are super clear so you can’t really tell that they’re on the feet of my chairs unless you really look for it. They fit perfectly on my chairs and provide an easy glide on my hardwood floors without leaving any scratches protecting my floors from further damage. They don’t make any noise either which is a plus because these chairs always made a sound when being moved around. They aren’t thick so I’m not sure how long they will last with daily use but I will update if I end up having issues with them. They are on the pricier side compared to others on the market and I wish they had the size I needed in the 8 pack so I could have saved some money. Overall I think these are a good option to protect your floors especially if they’re prone to scratches. Read more

We have had wood kitchen floors for 25 years now. We have tried a variety of floor protectors from simply stick-on felt pads on the chair feet, to others that were silicone "socks" similar to these. Nothing proved to be a great solution. Sometimes the felt pads were good but they were not a consistent solution. They might shift or fall off, or if they actually stayed on for an extended period, the felt would no longer allow the chair to easily glide across the floor. The old silicone socks I tried were terrible. The pad on them would get displaced (from people sitting in the chair and pushing away from the table). The silicone would stretch, sometimes even tear, and the entire floor protector would fall off. It's been 2 weeks that we have had this new product on our chairs and so far, it's terrific! It is very tight and has stayed perfectly in place on the chair leg. I was very surprised at easily and lightly the chairs glides on the floor compared to the felt pads. You must, however, know how to put the protector on correctly. (Any woman who has put on the tight pair of pantyhose knows the method). Hold and stretch the silicone completely open. Insert the chair leg with no air gaps between the end of the leg and the end of the silicone. And then snap the rest of the silicone upward around the leg. If you have the pad securely in its place and no air pockets or laxity between the silicone and wood (chair leg), then you should be good to go! Read more

I used these for about 50 chairs at a restaurant I manage. They are good and get the job done. My biggest recommendations is to ensure you order the right sizes because they can be very pricey when ordering for a big quantity. If you order too big they will come off easily and defeat the purpose (see first pictures) I had to reorder to get the right size. Second time worked fantastic. I’ve had them 6 months and have held up great. Read more

We have some nice but inexpensive chairs with narrow feet that have plastic tip inserts. We needed something with a felt end to prevent the plastic tips from breaking off and scratching the floor. Bought these with high hopes but after only 3 days of use I found two of the caps had torn. The felt does not slide well, it's a tougher material and with me in the chair scooting in and out at the table the caps have torn. They fit well and seem to be well constructed, just the felt on the bottom is no slippery enough. I'll be going to Ace Hardware to see what I can find. Read more

After trying to get those stick on felt pads to stay put I finally gave up. The chair bottom is slightly angled, and the felt pads kept getting slowly squeezed out and eventually scraping my new high dollar oak floor. Fortunately, I caught that before it damaged my floor. I bought these slip-on pads and they work great. I had them installed on all 6 chairs in about 10 minutes. The pads on these are soft and slide easily on the wood floor. They don't come loose or try to rotate out from under the chair. Problem solved. I'm very happy with them. Read more
