My perfect over the helmet balaclava
I tried at least a half dozen other models and brands to find the perfect balaclava to wear over my helmet and that was versatile enough to wear in a range of conditions being that I’m an ice coast skier. I have a few other blackstrap products, which I’ve always been happy with, so I was excited to find this model after not loving the over the helmet fit of the team model. Really like the quality and feel of the material both inside and outside, and it is warm enough yet breathable and not bulky at all. Would certainly recommend if you are looking for something versatile that will actually work over the helmet without being super bulky or baggy. Probably a bit loose to wear under the helmet, however, in my opinion. I plan to get at least one more to have as a back-up or in case they change it up or stop making it. Read more

Not for big helmets
Seems pretty nice and warm but way too tight over my helmet. I wear a Large/XL Smith Vantage and this was very difficult to get on an was very tight to my face once I did. Even pretty snug on my son’s size medium Giro helmet. Read more

Warm, but pretty tight.
One size fits all doesn't quite work with my smith helmet. Sits right round the back of the helmet. The face covering section isn't elastic like the regular black strap balaclavas and I've had issues keeping it snug below my goggles.
