Power, amps, watts, just not there
Received this blender 2 1/2 weeks ago. When I took it out of the box I couldn’t believe how light it was. The base is made out of plastic and no where on the bottom or on the back of the blender are any specs to be found so I have no way of verifying if it has what they say it has. They say it is 3.8 hp but it feels like 1 1/2 hp. Because it is built in China I don’t trust it being 3.8 hp. Had to buy a tamper in order to make a smoothie. I am back to using my Vitamix 2.2 hp for the tougher jobs. Really disappointed. I really don’t believe this is a commercial blender This 825 model is for home use only. With the extra accessories and the blender I spent close to $1200. My $400 vitamix out performs this blendex in every way. Should have bought the American made Vitamix commercial made blender. With all the money I spent you would think they would have given you a smoothie book. Live and learn! Read more
