Good consistency and lasts longer
The media could not be loaded. The product comes in nice small packaging and the size, shape is very practical. It does not feel cheap sticky and seems effective for chapped lips. I am having issue of chapped lips since 2020, seems like irreversible solar damage due to high sensitivity of my skin, I was recommended hydrocortisone cream by dermatologist. The cream was very effective but longer usage is risky therefore I started using regular moisturising creams. Within a few days, my lips’ skin started peeling and got darker hue. I returned to cortisone based cream and which was again effective but risky. In last few years with occasionally falling back to cortisone based creams, I have tried several regular treatments but all had the similar disappointing results. Vaseline jelly based creams last longer on lips but lips feel weird, heavier and sticky. Normal creams which are effective but last only few minutes or hours. This Blistex stick has right consistency which feels lighter and lasts longer. Due to its lipstick shape, it is easy to carry and easy to apply. The effectiveness is closer to cortisone based creams without any noticeable worse effects as of now. On first use it might feel lice wax because either the stick top dries or there is a layer to protect moisture but thereafter the consistency is best for application. I hope that this will give me permanent cure by end of 3 sticks and do not have to fall back to cortisone based creams. Read more
