Hello Amazon family!! I wore this to work yesterday and got compliments from EVERYONE one of my patients!! I am a doctor, work 18 to 20 hour shifts, rerely get to go out so I enjoy dressing up for work. I also exercise for my personal workouts twice a day and never stand still while working with patients. ( Sports Med. Doc.) That LONG storyline is to lead you into this one!😁 I saw this pullover and it reminded me of the 1970s, very retro and unique so I ordered it. When I opened the package I was overly impressed! The fabric is VERY heavy, the stitching is sturdy as well as double stitched, and the manufacturer LINED UP the color pattern. This shows a very high quality garment. So far so good right!! Correct! The fabric is not see-through although it has the appearance of soft crocheted fabric , it is not overly soft and does NOT have much give but it is still comfortable, lays nicely, keeps its form, breathable, and the pattern is very flattering, soft and feminine. I wore it for a 35 minute cardio session and it was completely comfortable. The style is NOT form fitting through the mid-section but is on top and arms. The chest is deeply cut but under control because it has these really cool gold metal beads which brings the look completely in! One more thing, the sleeves!! I did not even notice them until lunch!! I was so impressed by the quality, style, pattern and feel of this top I just forgot to look .. they are Flared!!! This brings the pullover to a new fashion level!! I love purchasing ONE item that has MULTIPLE uses. Nowadays it is a MUST to save money anyway we can and this top became one of the most versatile and cost effective part of my spring THROUGH fall wardrobe: swimsuit cover, wear with flare jeans and boots, long pencil skirt and heels, trusted up with pearls or long gold beads. It has a mixture of four different colors so you can bounce off those color schemes and create four completely matching color outfits, wear it to the gym to exercise in 🏋️🥰, to the office with slacks, out to the club with ANY pants or shoes, for travel because it does NOT wrinkle, date night , a quick change of outfits to go from home or work to an event. Seriously, with this top all you have to do is pack different jewelry and shoes. Worse case scenario bottom garment to match the event. This top can just follow you place to place!! I like the style of this cover up. I chose the brown multicolor option and it's kind of retro1970s vibe with the muted tones, crochet work and slightly bell sleeves. Unfortunately, it also has the 70s fabric feel too, as in not very soft. It's a little stiff but I suppose that also helps it keep it's slight shaping which is body flattering. The three embellishments in the cleavage area are gold colored metal, so hopefully that will hold up at the beach and not cause a metal allergy reaction on my skin. It did hold up well to a gentle wash, and i hung to dry. It air dried very quickly. It's very airy, and a good way to cover up while still enjoying some coolness. Read more
I usually wear a medium top and a small or size 6 bottom women's sizes. I ordered this coverup in a small. It fits me pretty fitted so if you prefer your coverups to be a little looser or if you're in between sizes, go up one. The quality is very good. There are no crooked hems or loose threads. The little gold adornments on the chest have no rough edges. The fabric has 4-way stretch to it so it isn't binding. The armpits fit well and the arms hit me just below my wrist/on the top of my hand. If you want your patterns to be perfectly aligned, this one will fall short on that element. What I mean is that the pattern does not meet brown stripe to brown stripe. In this case, the side seams have brown stripe to blue stripe. I don't feel like this disrupts the coverup at all, but I know that some people are very particular about stripes matching up. Read more
