The ruching across the midsection does an excellent job smoothing the stomach area while still looking natural, not stiff or gathered in an awkward way. The tankini top provides great coverage and support, making it feel secure enough for swimming, lounging, and light beach activities. The fabric feels well made and stretchy with a nice thickness that holds its shape when wet and doesn’t go sheer. The top offers good bust support and stays in place without constant adjusting, while the bottoms sit comfortably at the waist without digging in. I also appreciate that it balances modest coverage with a stylish silhouette, so it feels confidence-boosting without looking matronly. For reference, I’m 5’2”, 127 lbs, and wear a 34DD, and I found this swimsuit to fit true to size. I ordered a medium. [Blooming Jelly Women's Tankini Swimsuit Ruched Tummy Control Two Piece] The top to the suit is a nice design. The straps feed through two loops on the back and allow for a bow or knot to be utilised to adjust the length according to your individual needs. The front is lined in a light coloured flesh toned fabric. There are foam cup inserts to help keep your shape and to cover the nipple areas well. These inserts could be removed if you don't wish to use them. The design on the outer cup area is actually small cutouts. Initially I expected it to be printed or embroidered on. It's a bit different and I like the effect. The bottom has a relatively good shape, one that allows many different body types to find it attractive. It doesn't feel like it has "tummy control" to me. If it does have it, it is rather weak. Overall this is a relatively attractive and comfortable tankini. It is priced as you would expect for this type of swimsuit. Read more

This tankini is very cute! More of a tighter fit than others do if you like your tankinis looser or more flowy around the middle there are others that would fit the bill better. Saying that, this one is a great suit. A bit sexy with the cut outs on the top and of course those are lined so no actual skin is showing through. High waist bottom so flattering. Quality is great as usual with Blooming Jelly. I always order a large in this brand, but I would’ve been more comfortable in an XL in this one just due to the fit being a bit tighter. Tummy control is there and it does help flatten. Since it’s a halter top it has a good amount of support. I’m 5’6 165lbs and hourglass shaped for reference. Read more

This is a really cute swimsuit and the sizing is great. I'm 5'4", 150lbs with 32DDD bra size. The top fit really well and looks good on. I really like the ruching along the side. It looks really flattering on. The bottoms are high rise and help make the tummy flatter. If it weren't for the ruching on the side of the top you would be able to see the line from the bottoms. But the top makes the bottoms look really good. The back has a tie and does a criss cross along the top of my back. It's very flattering on. The fabric is traditional swimsuit material with lining on the front of the bottoms and the top. The detailing on the top is really cute and adds to the nice aesthetic of the suit. It is a good quality suit for the price and well worth it. This will be a great suit for paddle boarding. Read more

I was looking for a swimsuit that I could feel cute in but also be active at the beach, and this one worked out great. I got the dark cyan with the printed top and really love the halter style. The back is super cute with the crisscross straps, and you can tighten them so the front fits securely. The top gives good coverage, so I could play volleyball and run around with the kids without worrying about anything shifting. It’s not a full-on sports swimsuit, but it’s definitely supportive enough for an active beach day. The bottoms are a flattering print and pretty forgiving, though they do have a slightly higher cut on the leg, so keep that in mind for the bikini line. I’m 5'8", a 38 c or d and about 150 - the fit of a large worked well for me on both top and bottom once i tightened up the top (seems like it could work well with larger busts as well). I’ve worn it to the pool with the kids and even in the hot tub, and so far it seems durable with no fading yet (though anything will fade eventually in a hot tub). Overall, really happy with it!
