I am surprised with how much I like this one piece swimsuit! I have a struggled with body dysmorphia my entire life, and was unsure of how I would feel wearing this swimsuit. I like that the swimsuit has ruching in the tummy area. This helps me feel more secure in the swimsuit. Although this swimsuit does not offer traditional tummy control because there is no compression, the design of the swimsuit gives the illusion of a more flattering figure. I recommend this swimsuit to anyone looking for a comfortable one piece to wear that has a unique layer of fabric designed to disguise or draw attention away from the tummy area without compression. I do love swimsuits that offer compression, but it is nice to have a swimsuit that gives the same effect while being comfortable enough so I can play volleyball without being winded or uncomfortable. This is a very nice one-piece swimsuit with great coverage. I lovingly call it my “mom suit”, as I’m about a year postpartum and still navigating my body, and this suit makes me feel comfortable and confident. I’d say it runs true to size. I ordered a small and for reference, I’m 5’4” and 115 lbs. It’s a bit snug in the bust for me, but I’m still breastfeeding, so that’s to be expected. I probably could have sized up, but it still fits. The built-in padding is on the thinner side for my preference, but it’s workable. The rouching around the waist is very flattering, and the coverage in the back is great. This suit is flattering without being overly compressive, which I personally prefer. Very cute geat colors. The tummy control is pretty good! The pouchy pouch is not pouching as much in the c-section area. it helps with the c-section area. The fabric is very comfortable on the skin and dries relatively quickly. The whole suit is lined well inside. The suit is cute and modest at the same time which is great. The straps seem sewn in very well. I don't think their will be any quality issues with this suit. The price seems to be about spot on, at about $29. This is a great suit and honestly reminds me of a favorite I had back around 1995—in the best way. It has really nice support and comfortably accommodates a 34 DDD without cutting into my shoulders. The straps are perfect and adjustable, which makes a big difference. There’s no tight compression (thank goodness—I hate that squeezed feeling), but the cut is very flattering and doesn’t highlight any belly issues.
