My first generation iPad Pro is running on its last legs, so it's time to get a new iPad. I use it mostly for note taking, so a base A16 fits my needs for what I'm paying for. Now it's time to get screen protectors and a new case to product it. I was looking through different options, and this case seem to be a good middle ground between the cheaper looking cases and the official apple folio keyboard case. I was pretty impressed by the build quality and all the features that comes with it. I'll limit my comparisons with the apple folio magic keyboard as these options are $100+. Protection - it is definitely more protective, with a separate case that is magnetically attached to the bigger cover with the keyboard. With a screen protector, my iPad is fully protected from all sides. Weight - a bit heavier and bulkier than the apple version. But then again, that's the cost of the added protection. Keyboard - this one requires charging (usb-c), but on the flip side, this allows me to use the keyboard while not connected to the iPad. The keyboard holds a long charge, so as long as I charge the keyboard alongside the iPad, I can't imagine the keyboard ever being out of power when I need to use it. Additional feature - the magnetic case allows the ipad to stand upright while using the ipad. this is pretty useful as it allows the iPad to "float" above the keyboard in any orientation. Also, the stand on the backside of the case is pretty secure. There's also a holder for apple pencil. It was a nice after thought, but I don't think I'll be using it as it doesn't seem too secure if I leave the pencil in it while it gets rocked around in my backpack, and the magnetic top works on the pencil even with the case during use. Overall, I like this case a lot and strongly recommend it for those who are looking for a tough case that will definitely protect your iPad. Read more

I work in a nursing home and we have many kindle for the residents to use. I have a similar case to this one for the smaller fires and it works great. This one is just too bulky for the 10 inch. I also don't like how the stand portion is not adjustable, causing the kindle to be at a right angle to the table. This makes viewing difficult and video calls a challenge. The smaller version has more adjustability. The case is good for very young children who don't mind holding the tablet for viewing. It is definitely durable and well protect it from falls. Read more
