I bought three pairs of these shorts in different colors. They run true to size and are loose-fitting. One pair is a blue print on a white background and they are not see-through at all. They are made from typical athletic pants fabric, soft and stretchy, but without the skin-tight fit of most athletic shorts. They’re great for everyday wear. Worn with a long shirt over them, you won’t look like you just came from the gym. Despite the looser fit at the legs, the 7” inseam keeps them from riding up when walking so they don’t have to constantly be adjusted. The price was also right, $5-10 less than most competitors during Prime Days. These shorts launder well (machine wash cold, tumble dry medium) and are wrinkle-free when removed from the dryer at the end of the cycle. The shorts have a wide waistband, but the elastic inside is narrow, so the waistband will roll if you have a tummy. That said, it doesn’t feel like they are digging in at the waist and I still find them comfortable. Wider elastic would help the waist stay flat, so I deducted a star. I love these shorts, I have just about every color. They are so comfortable and are going to pack so easily for our upcoming cruise; lightweight and not thick. Based on sizing chart and customer reviews, I ordered medium. I wish I had ordered small, the size I ususally wear. I'm 5'8" and 127 pounds. The shorts are very roomy and big around the waist. I think a small would have been just right. I can't make up my mind about the fabric. The shorts came in a tiny bag and were very wrinkled. After washing the wrinkles remained. They ironed well, but I'm hoping they're not going to need ironing after each washing. The fabric is very light and cool. If they behave after a few washings, I may order another color in small.
