I think they are true to size. Before I purchased I read the reviews, they all said go up a size. I have thick thighs and went up to XL definitely way to big; unfortunately I still wore them to workout and they kept rolling down. I purchased two pairs of the Gymreapers Halo Seamless Shorts (Squat Proof, High Waisted, Glute Scrunch) and ordered a size larger than I normally wear just to be safe. Unfortunately, they were still extremely tight, much tighter than expected for sizing up. The fit just didn’t feel accurate. On top of that, one pair arrived with a hole already in the fabric, which was disappointing right out of the package. I ended up returning both pairs for a refund.
