This megapack of 36 big pimple patches work wonders on huge ugly blemishes, sucking out funk overnight for a clean and refreshed look in just a couple of hours. The adhesive within the patches cling well to my oily skin and do not pill or rub off, even when I wear them in my sleep. When I place these patches on a mega-zit at night, the blemish almost always looks half the size and much less red for me in the morning. The shape and color of the pineapple patches are very vivid and work better than clear patches to remind me not to pick or poke... which I am horribly guilty of. The clear ones are great for days when I want to go discreet; the overall pineapple fragrance on these being light and pleasing instead of overpowering and skin-irritating. Although these patches already are jumbo compared to others on the market, they work even harder as whoppers in terms of just how much pimple funk they can absorb; you can see them changing colors and becoming a little raised as they suck up pus and other nasty things. These patches are a good size, stick well, and work best on those pimples that are just starting, like the sore ones under the skin. By the next day, the swelling goes down a lot. If your whole gimmick is to have something smell like watermelon, I expect it to smell like watermelon. This did not. They’re also not anything special in terms of these patches. What qualifies as a pre-teen? I don't even know anymore. I can't remember when I got my first pimple. But I have nieces who are about to be 10. Their father had TERRIBLE skin. Between genetics and the first whispers of puberty, pimples have started to happen. I've been trying to teach good habits, but it's hard. I mean, they're still so young that putting on deodorant every day isn't a habit yet and requires reminding. A full skincare routine is a little out of the question. I personally prefer patches that have tea tree and salicylic acid because I really believe in those ingredients. But the kids are still young and still have little girl skin. I know one of them has skin that is a little more sensitive. Hydrocolloid patches are effective by themselves and I feel are the best option for them at this age. Plus, it is easier to get them to remember to use them when they're cute. These were cute and did smell like watermelon. When the package arrived, their mom (my sister) had a really big lump (it was MASSIVE and painful) in the tender skin on the side of the eye where your glasses sit. She was the first person to try the patches. She put one on at 5:30 at night and by the next morning it had flattened out considerably. These definitely work very well - not 100% gone the next day, but a severe reduction in the pimple leading to them disappearing fully much more quickly. They're pretty cheap, and they are cute, both the product and also the packaging/presentation. They do also mildly smell like blueberries. I've never noticed a scent on any of these patches before, nor can I really smell these ones unless they're directly under my nose, so it's an odd little idea, but it's fun! Read more

My son is a fan of the Just for Teens Face Wash, which has improved his situation, but he still has flares, so I knew he'd be excited to try these as well. He's not a kid who is willing to wear patches to school/in public (even clear), but he'll wear them overnight, so he tested three and reported back to me that two of his spots were noticeably improved by morning, one wasn't. Personally, based on my own experience with patches, I think 2 out of 3 isn't bad. And IMO, the fruit designs are adorable. But I also love that they come with clear for going under the radar. I asked him about the scent and he said, "they're scented?" so I think the scent must not be all that strong, which is probably a good thing. Read more
