Excellent sound quality and couldn't be easier to use. Charges quickly and it has honest to goodness theater sound. If you close your eyes while listening to it, you can't tell you aren't hooked up to home theater. You can slip your finger under the top "handle" and feel the boom or whatever that speaker disc thing is called - jumping around in there from the beats. I can set it up on my dashboard in my car and hear and talk perfectly with no sound issues at all. I use it when I'm in the shower and can have a quick convo with one of my friends or family while getting ready (you know how they always call with last minute updates or plan changes). I also use it in the kitchen when I'm cooking or my hands are otherwise wet or busy and no more, "What? I can't hear you! Take me off speaker phone!" Which is always what I get. I absolutely loathe having to hold the phone up to my ear. I can share a video with someone easily, put it by the pool to listen to tunes. The sound is great from several feet away and I can roam all over the kitchen while talking. PRO: small, easy to set up, decent quality sound for its size and functions pretty well, BUT CON: it is captioned as "portable", and since it was new, the battery was questionable. I purchased this because I was looking for a way to get better volume/listening ability from my phone. I drive an older car and can't "plug in" my phone to play through speakers. I've looked into an FM transmitter, but saw this speaker and decided to give it a try because of the great price. The setup was easy and I had no trouble syncing to my phone. It won't automatically sync for me, so each time I get in my car, I have to hit the power button, go to my phone and hit connect to sync. It's a minor issue, but since I'm in and out of my car all day instead of traveling for an extended time period, it really makes a difference for me. I use the speaker for podcasts and haven't tried it for music. For my podcasts, it does a decent job. I defiinitely get more volume, better than using phone alone. My problems come in again when I receive a phone call. You can use this speaker while talking on the phone, but you'll likely get a lot of "what" and "huh?" in return. My husband said it sounded like I was talking out of a tunnel. I find it difficult to get to the menu on my phone to turn off bluetooth. I have several speakers like this. This is the best. I use it with my Iphone but not for music. Just remember to shut it off when you go to sleep. It beeps when the charge is low. If that is 3am and you're asleep, you will wake up. So shut it off before sleeping. Read more
