I’ve finally found the pillow I’ve been searching for! I have cervical instability and this pillow is awesome for my neck. I love that I can select and change the height and feel at any point depending on my needs that night. Plus I sleep on all sides so like that the edges don’t taper off to a point or have too much material that it pushes into the sides of my nose and makes it hard to breathe. I find that this pillow has the perfect combination of firm and supportive, but yet still soft and squishy enough that my head doesn’t hurt or bounce around on the pillow. This pillow also wasn’t overly smelly right out of the bag. It still had the typical memory foam smell from being sealed up, but minimal, and after airing it out for a day it what good to go. I think this is a quality pillow at a really fair price point. I have seven other pillows I rotate through depending on how much my neck hurts, but now I can finally start tossing some out. Like a lot of folks, I have been searching for the right pillow to get a comfortable night's sleep without neck and shoulder pain for ages. I also get migraines. I like the solid foam pillows rather than shredded because the shredded filling tends to move around and not give consistent support. However it is very hard to find a good solid foam pillow that suits me because they are usually too thick and too firm, or on a rare occasion way too soft with no support. This pillow is impressive right out of the box! Not only do you have many options for the loft or thickness, but the foam is lovely. It feels soft to lay your head on, but still gives support. It doesn't sink down to nothing. It also doesn't feel like a block of cement once it conforms to your head. I am a back and side sleeper with a small frame and this seems to be the perfect combo. Also the cover is lovely and soft. I use a pillow case anyway, but I do like a nice quality cover nonetheless . I highly recommend this if you are having trouble finding that perfect balance with a memory foam pillow. I had cervical fusion surgery in 2022 and have had difficulty finding a pillow that is "Just Right". I had an old pillow that was very thin that worked well but it got old and worn out. I need something that keeps my cervical spine totally straight. Most pillows will cause your head to tilt upwards putting a strain on your neck. Sleeping without a pillow doesn't give any support for your head and your neck tilts downward. I tried various cervical pillows but they just didn't work and I had to return them. This pillow is UNBELIEVABLE!! I selected different sizes to put in the included case (which is also fantastic) until I found the combination that was just right (kind of like Goldilocks). The pillows themselves have great memory foam that creates a very soft and cool sensation. Some memory foam is too stiff. This pillow gives the support I need without being too firm. I have a smaller frame, only 5' tall and 150lbs and finding a pillow I can use long term without it hurting my neck is a struggle. This pillow is absolutely perfect. Being able to change depth of head feel is a plus. I wanted a more firm feel from these layers. Others in our household found this pillow perfect and love everything about it. I do feel, when seller describes benefits and features, it would be nice to have a chart that is relatable to a feel of soft as 1, to firm as 5 and those in between.
