All in all this is an excellent plyometric box, especially for beginners. 1) Foam construction is very nice to prevent impact injuries. 2) Minor instability. The foam is not one solid piece. it is several layers of 4 inch thick foam. When placed in certain positions, there will be slight shifting when the layers are "stacked" vertically vice horizontally. However, it is not an issue as it just requires a more balanced landing, and can easily support a 200 pound jumper. 3) Picture shows some black granules that are inside, that can leak out of the zipper. It is not the foam which is white in color, and does not appear to be from the cover. There is not enough to add significant weight or stability to the box, so I am not quite sure why it is there. In any case, you can simply just vacuum it out or just clean it if it leaks out of the zipper opening. Read more

This box seems really dangerous. The gym I went to used Titan boxes, but I was hoping to save some money in my home gym. There is a huge difference in quality. The foam pads in this box are unstable and uneven, shifting to have edges almost half an inch apart. It might be ok if you’re just using it for stretching etc, but any actual jumping or lifting on the box doesn’t seem safe. Read more
