I am looking for a sturdy replacement for my BED|STÜ Laurel Boots and I've heard really good things about the Blundstone brand. Hopefully, I just picked a dud and the whole line if shoes isn't like what I received. Firstly, even though the soles are pristine, the body of the boots have an abundance of scratches, rubs, and blemishes. I realize the name of the color is "Rustic Black" but I didn't expect the boots to look quite so used. At this price I'd like to beat them up myself, thank you. Secondly, in no way, shape, or fashion would I consider these comfortable. The leather is pretty thin and doesn't seem as if they would be very warm to wear. The insides are HARD, the shaft is very stiff, and it would take some serious time and effort to break them in to be wearable. Everything about these boots was saying "NO" to me. I found them ugly, uncomfortable, and unflattering. I would not recommend these particular boots; however, I do plan on trying the original 500 with the double leather upper for comparison. Read more
