These shorts were just as pictured, the material quality is high, and the texture is such that they will be comfortable to wear when exercising or even in hot weather to the beach. Great for wearing over my bathing suit, the water will have a tendency to slide off rather than absorb. The color is as pictured, a soft muted kind of charcoal grey which I can wear with any top, but looks especially sharp when paired with white. I like these shorts more than I was even expecting to and I figured I'd like them to begin with. First off these definitely are athletic shorts and look as such so they definitely don't have a look that translates to just casual shorts you can where as just a normal pair of shorts. The outer layer of fabric has that quick dry fabric looks to them that just screams exercise shorts but that's not a problem for me cause I got these as exercise shorts. With that said they are super functional. I love when shorts have a waist band that stays in place and doesn't roll down and I was pleased to find out the waist band on these stays firmly in place. I wore these for a run on the treadmill and while the shorts themselves did ride up a bit it wasn't too bad and didn't bother me. The pockets on these are deep enough for any sized phone you might have and the zippers in the pockets are smooth and easy to both open and close and didn't find that they got stuck at all. Overall I'm just really happy with these shorts and they are definitely gonna be part of my regular rotation. I really don't have any complaints they fit as expected and are very comfortable with a waist band that stays firmly in place and pockets that can accommodate any phone. Great find! Read more
My daughter is 5’8” and 145 pounds, and she typically wears a size S. These shorts are snug-fitting, but she reports they are comfortable. The shorts arrived with loose threads in several places (see pic). Things she likes about the shorts include the zippered pockets and the high-waisted fit. I love how these 2 in 1 running shorts fit. These have a nice, wide elastic waistband that sits comfortably at the waist so the shorts won't be sliding around as you run. The waistband and the seam at the rear are both very flattering. As far as the material on the outside layer of the shorts, it's what what you'd expect from a tracksuit/windsuit ; very light weight and quick dry material. These are exactly what I was looking for and usually get similar ones from brand names. These are just as good as any I've had in fit, quality, and features. The elastic waist is sized appropriately for a Medium sizing, and isn't too tight. The fabric on the bike shorts-like lining and the external fabric are breathable and washable. They look great, are comfortable, and wear well while running. I absolutely must have zippered pockets and this has two, which is something name brands often lack. Where things fell short for us was the fit. My model is 5'4", 150 lbs, and typically wears a medium comfortably. We ordered the black shorts in size Medium, and they were too small. The material just below the back waistband bunched awkwardly, and the overall fit didn’t sit right. Based on our experience, sizing up is definitely the safer choice.
