Amazingly helpful for air purifier and de-humidifier setups, which I use in my kitchen and garage. Very simple to have this control a power strip which supplies a box or stand-up fan and de-humidifier for when I park in the garage with a wet car. This also turns off my air purifier after an hour or up to 6 hours, or on constantly: each with only 1 button press. Read more

I've purchased three different timers like this, all with great reviews. I cannot speak to the longevity of this product because I've only been using it for a week or so, but it works perfectly, it's easy to use, easy to understand, and, most critically, the power outlet is on the side and the unit leaves other outlets available. I mostly wanted this for chargers, like phone chargers, so that I am not leaving things on a charger for hours and hours, since that is typically not good for rechargeable batteries. With this kind of timer, I can plug in a phone or whatever, set it to charge for a few hours, and I don't have remember to pull it off the charger now. I have tested two other units (from different companies) and they all work as intended, but the ONE difference is the others block two or more outlets. If you are plugging into power strip, for example, you are likely going to block another outlet unless the unit is plugged into the bottom, whereas this unit is more narrow and the outlet is on the side, so in most cases it is not blocking another outlet. On a standard wall outlet (a dual outlet in a home), you can plug it into either outlet and the other outlet is available. The one caveat is on power strips where the outlets are rotated 90 degrees (so most power adapter wiring would be coming off the side): in these cases this unit would actually block THREE outlets. So be aware of what you intend to plug into. Still, the other units I've tested all block at least two outlets no matter what they are plugged into because of their size and outlet orientation. Also, each button is dedicated to a time, whereas some other units require you to keep pressing to get to the desired time. Read more

I have various chargers (lithium battery) and small appliances that should (and usually do) shut off after a certain amount of time, but I always worry that they won’t. This timer makes certain that they will, so I can turn them on and KNOW that they will turn off before damaging anything. Best use is that I can set my expensive partials to a cleaning cycle in the sonic bath at bedtime, and know that I won’t accidentally end up with melted gobs of plastic and metal in the am instead of teeth! Also I don’t have to wake husband up at 3 am to ask if he took the lawnmower batteries off the charger. Read more

This is a wonderful design for lamps or other small appliances that need to be powered for short to medium periods of time. Well designed. Works perfectly. Pay attention to the maximum wattage of any item plugged into this timer. Read more

Own a few of these and used quite extensively as timed outlets for lithium and NiCad battery chargers. It's never a good idea to charge these batteries to a full 100% every time or worse to keep them on the charger. These timer outlets allow you to keep devices on their chargers without having an active charge or to guesstimate how much charge they may need. When using outdoor battery powered equipment, I'll put the batteries back on the charger for 30 or 60 mins for a quick recharge depending on how much I used the battery. It's a good estimate to not overcharge the battery from my testing on battery voltages. Simple to use, just push buttons for various times. No unncessary dials, programming or Wifi nonsense to deal with. Wish they sold these in a multi-pack at reduced cost - I'd buy six at a time - they are that useful. However, they are only indoor rated; should be OK in a covered outdoor area though. Read more

BN-LINK Indoor Countdown Timer with Repeat Function, Heavy Duty Accurate Compact Size for Charger Vacation Security, 3-Prong Grounded Outlet, 15A/1875W ½ HP ETL Listed I got this electricity countdown timer for my coffee pot. Yes, I’m the one who forgets to turn it off. A few days ago, I discovered my coffee pot was still on even though I had not used it in days. The coffee was carmel on the bottom of the pot. I put mine on an extension block so I can get to it just a little easier. I leave the coffee maker turned on. When I make a pot of coffee, I hit a timer button for however long I think I want the coffee to remain warm. If it goes off, I can turn it back on the same way. Otherwise, it goes off and I don’t burn the coffee pot or burn down the house….. Read more
