The media could not be loaded. I bought this product because I needed something to wear to help warm my feet and legs up for ballet classes, and these do the job perfectly! Honestly for the price, these are a very good pair of leg warmers. I appreciate the slit at the bottom so I can wear them more towards my ankles as I am doing barre, and I also appreciate how long they are. I am 5’6, 135lbs with decently sized thighs for my body. I also have longer legs and a shorter torso. These babies fit just above my knees and work wonderfully well for rolling them all the way up or scrunching them towards the bottom of my ankles. I’ve had this pair now for about 8 months and still they work well. They have since stretched out where my feet are, but that is to be expected. All in all, a solid pair of leg warmers! Read more

I bought these legwarmers to be part of a costume. They are very soft and comfortable (for the few hours that I've worn them). I have washed them and they held up fine in the regular wash and dryer. I'm not sure if it's my height (5'7") or the fact that I have larger calves, but the legwarmers did not go above my knee as shown. That was not a problem for me at all, just thought I would let others know that they might be shorter than shown. Overall I am happy with my purchase and look forward to no more nights with chilly legs. :) Read more

Before I begin, It's probably worth mentioning that I'm a guy (in case there's some other guy out there wondering if it's okay to buy these) and that while, at 5' 8", I'm not *tall,* I do have long legs for my height (31.5"/80cm inseam; 19.5"/49.5cm to mid-knee). My calves are also fairly huge (15.5"/39.5cm" at the widest point). Those factors almost certainly influence fit; I don't think these leg warmers would be as suitable for dancers much taller than I am. TL;DR version: PRO: Warm, light, not bulky, durable, washable. CON: At my size, I suspect I'm about at the upper limit for these. If you're tall, they might not work for you. Anyway! In my ever-expanding collection of legwarmers, I already had the taller version of these, so I knew I would like them. Chiefly, they do their job very, very well, and they seem durable. In fact, I was quite surprised to discover that if my right calf (which I injured a while back) starts to feel tight during petit allegro, I can just slap one of these on, and it helps profoundly almost at once. Likewise, they reduce warm-up time for my rather comically muscular calves, and that (combined with the stirrup feature) helps my feet warm up faster, too. Moreover, they're not bulky -- which is good, because bulky leg-warmers are frankly the very last thing I need when I'm going for a tight sus-sous. Right now, this is my go-to pair of legwarmers, so they see use almost daily and make their way through the wash a couple of times each week. Unlike most of my dance stuff, which I coddle ridiculously, I run these through the tumble dryer -- sometimes on low with my husband's aerials kit; sometimes on medium with regular clothes. So far, there's no sign at all of shrinkage, unraveling, or other damage. They come out soft, fluffy, and ready to wear. Since they're inexpensive, I don't worry about losing them -- though I do think I'll go ahead and buy another pair to keep on hand, because sooner or later I probably *will* lose them (or, rather, I will lose ONE of them, because the universe is a cruel and inhospitable place for a broke dancer). Fit is good: while, on first glance, I immediately thought, "Ha! Not bleeding likely," it turns out that they're elastic enough to be quite comfortable. I suspect, though, that I'm about at the upper limit of their comfort range. Someone with longer legs will probably find them a bit too short; someone with thicker legs might find their elastics too constricting. I *have* noticed that when I wear these with purpose-built mens' ballet tights (which are pretty smooth) they tend to slip down to just below my knees. This may be due to the way I'm built, or it could just be that my tights are slippery. I don't have the same problem when I take class in my mid-calf length jogging tights, short tights (which leave my legs bare to well above the knee), or what have you. Still, even with the slipping thing, they're still really useful legwarmers, and I like them a lot. Read more

Finally, I found something I can wear to barre and zumba class. The material is very soft, and I love that these leg warmers come up above the knee (I am 5'5). I do wear these to zumba class and the stirrup locations are perfect for what I do in dance. The fabric under the balls of my feet allow me to turn easily, while having my toes and heels free to add friction when I am in a stationary position. I know that most people would wear these for ballet, but I love that I can use these for multiple classes. They are very comfortable and they fit me as the product claims. I will definitely be ordering more of these! Read more

They're nice and stretchy and comfy, and I love wearing them! I wear them a couple times a week and they seem pretty durable. Just FYI for girls with long legs or thick legs, I'm 5'2" and weigh 95 lbs and they come up about as high on me as they do in the picture (a few inches above the knee), so if you're taller you might want to go with a longer legwarmer. I was kind of hoping they'd be a bit longer on me since I have such short legs, but no such luck. The top part around the thigh is a little thicker and tighter to keep them from falling down while dancing, but it's a little less stretchy so it might not fit someone with bigger legs. Read more

Update: after a few all-day wesrings and one wash in cold air dry they are pilling. Hoping it doesn't get worse because I love wearing them. But wearing pilled fabric upsets me so I won't be buying more as planned. I tried some other leg warmers on Amazon this year and they were scratchy and poorly made, so I was happy to find Body Wrappers here for less than the others. It only took a few days for them to arrive and they are soft, thick, have a perfect heel cutout and a good snug band at the top. The fit around the foot is important to me and it is ideal: not annoying to walk on and doesn't move around either. Others I tried this year were floppy on the foot. I'm 4' 10" with a 25" inseam and this pair looks perfect a bit scrunched at the ankle with the top a couple inches above the knee. And they are so comfortable! Going to get a couple more pairs to keep me warm all day this winter! Read more

I'm 5' 8" 145 lbs, at 74 I have slimmer thighs than I used to have and they do fit. I don't us the foot holes and they ride comfortably above the knees about 4" - 6" onto the thighs, and, they stay up! (So far any ways.) I bought a couple more pairs to rotate them so they don't stretch out to quickly. They're warm and comfortable. Good price. Read more
